Today’s Message:Flow and Faith
924: As we work on our personal, spiritual and life goals we will find that faith in ourselves is one of our biggest assets. The other important asset is our support system. Our friends, family and Divine sources play a major role in our success. Today the Universe is sending a gentle reminder that your support system is here and that you are surrounded with both supportive and healing energies. This will be important for the changes headed your way or that you are experiencing now. The key here is to allow these things to happen naturally, so don’t force things to happen or struggle to stop them. These changes will benefit you and help to shape your goals and dreams. Just go with the flow and have faith in yourself and in the Universal powers and get ready to reap the rewards.

Archangel Jeremiel is in charge of life reviews and changes. He can help you see everything that you have accomplished recently as well as the areas that need attention and helps us to let go of what we no longer need. He reminds us that it is our faith that keeps us grounded so that we can embrace both the patience and the clear decision making needed to make things happen.

She asks that we be proactive about looking for signs of our inner growth and gain a new perspective about what lies ahead. She says “Healing can be found in nature and by observing it. Aventurine teaches us how to give and receive gracefully. Both are necessary for healthy relationships with self and others and it allows the Universe to care for you. Aventurine also helps to dispel the anger and irritation that sometimes arise when we are stuck in the “what I lack” mind loop.
Beryl teaches us how to fulfill our true potential. It helps us to see both sides of a situation, opportunity or problem and promotes strategic planning so that we can use it to our best advantage.
Orbicular or Ocean Jasper helps to increase our sense of responsibility and promotes patience. It provides the strength we need to calmly deal with life’s challenges and soothes the emotional stress that can happen when we become impatient for results.

923: Today is the Autumn Equinox, Mabon or Harvest Home to those of us who follow the pagan traditions. Gratitude is our keyword and it goes hand in hand with this seasonal celebration. Faith is part of gratitude, and the stronger our faith the more we manifest and the more we have to be grateful for. This is a good time to perform a self check and think about the gifts and miracles that have blessed your life so far this year. By looking back we can see how far we have come from spring and the thought seeds that we planted at that time. Make sure to nurture the “new growth” and to harvest what’s ready now. Embrace your blessings with a grateful heart and affirm that you have faith that they will continue to be abundant in your life.

Other activities include making gourd rattles, harvesting from your garden, share your gardens abundance with others, fill your bird feeders with treats for your avian friends. Most of all, count your blessings. Have everyone in your family make a list of all the things they are thankful for and then read them aloud. I will also include my favorite activity…”feeding the trees”. We share a drink of apple cidar or wine with our trees. This honors not only the tree spirit but my husbands patron The Greenman.

Mabon (pronounced May-bon, May-bone, May-bun, May-bawn) is celebrated at the time of the Autumn Equinox on or around September 21. This festival marks the completion of the harvest begun at Lughnasadh. It is named after the celtic god Mabon. Other names for this Lesser Sabbat include Harvest Home, Festival of Dionysus, The Feast of Avalon, Mea’n Fo’mhair (druid), Winter Finding (norse), Equinozio di Autunnio (strega).
On this day, day and night are again equal and time holds it’s breath as the Dying God gets ready to leave his physical body and begin the great journey to the Summerland. He sees this as the last great adventure of renewal and rebirth. The Goddess who is drowsing in the waning warmth of summer feels her love getting ready to depart as well as the new life growing in her womb.
The threefold theme for this Sabbat is Balance- Gratitude- Reflection. This is also a time of balance not only within nature but within ourselves and our lives. On the great wheel Mabon is balanced by Ostara. It is traditional to clean the unnecessary clutter from your home and life as well as blessing the thresholds of your house. Look back on everything you have done in the past year and with your life. Congratulate yourself on your accomplishments and make note of the areas you need to improve upon. Give thanks to the Lady and Lord, yourself and to everyone who has helped to get where your on this day! This is a wonderful time to do spells of balancing in preparation of the time of relfection that will be coming up at Samahain.

Today’s Message:Light-ness Of Being
921: Many of our daily readings revolve around faith, in both the universe and in yourself. I’m sure that you’ve noticed that some days your faith is strong while on others you may feel like things aren’t working out or that what you do doesn’t matter. (This is normal, it happens) Take a moment to acknowledge your feelings, even indulge in a short pity party if you like, then pick yourself up, dust yourself off and remind yourself that you are worthy, strong and nothing will hold you back. Today, the angels want us to know that everything we do is important, even the small things. Help and support are always available and it’s only a request away. If your faith is feeling puny today start by grounding, clearing and centering and then ask (Spirit, angels, masters) for a little TLC and support. Make sure to release any negative thoughts and feelings that you may be holding and regain your light-ness of being!

Today’s Message: Loving Support
920: One of the most important things we need when working with everyday life is support. Last month we talked about how friends and family help to create this important support system. This support is necessary because it brings new ideas, blessings, and people who can help us. Today we are being reminded that the universe is part of our support system and that we should never hesitate to ask for what we need to support our endeavors. Remember, when we ask for assistance we are effectively setting things in motion and even if we can’t see immediate results things are happening. If you feel as if you have lost something or that something is missing in your life bless the situation with love and affirm that you are ready to make room for something better. Have faith that you have been heard and that help is on the way!
