Today’s Message: Patience and Faith

1029: Universal abundance comes in various forms and from many different sources. Sometimes we can see them happening right away while other times we wonder if our requests have even been heard. If you feel that you have lost something or something is missing, remember that the Universe supplies us with everything, we need to live richer and more fulfilling lives. Know that behind the scenes the cosmic wheels are turning, and things are falling into place. So be patient and have faith that things ARE materializing. Stay strong and focused, if you are unsure just ask for assistance. Let go of doubt and open yourself to living in the now. New adventures are on the horizon, and you need to be ready when they arrive!

Today’s Spirit Helpers include:

Archangel Michael helps to calm our fears as he guides us through issues of self-doubt by clearing our energy field and quieting the internal chatter so that we can access the guidance being sent to us. He helps us to find our courage and our direction while giving us the strength that we need to choose wisely and make decisions on our own. Michael’s energy is easily felt particularly during times of stress and confusion and helps us when we feel lost or overwhelmed. He sets us on the path of commitment to our purpose by showing us how to work through obstacles that pop up as he teaches us that we have what it takes to create new things for ourselves as he helps us reach new levels of self-confidence.

The Ascended Master Solomon helps us to take what we are given and make the most of it. He teaches us how to do things more efficiently as he guides us through difficult situations. Focus and efficiency help us in our quest for personal evolution and help create the necessary steppingstones we need to move ahead.

  The Hindu Goddess Kali is a dark mother and goddess of death. Each time we let go of something that no longer serves us we are in truth embracing a “little death” and fear often accompanies the letting go process. One of Kali’s greatest lessons is through our worst fears lies the freedom we gain in conquering them. She says:  “Do not allow yourself to become bogged down in what you perceive as lack. You are far wealthier than you realize and by getting out of your own way you will see the truth in this.”

Today’s Sacred Stones include:

 Tree Agate (Dendritic) to strengthen your connection to the plant kingdom and help you to enjoy each moment. It is also known as the stone of plentitude and promotes abundance while showing us the “wealth” we already have.

Copper is a conductor that moves energy and helps us communicate with the higher realms. It can also increase self-esteem and self-awareness which are essential to embracing our divine spark and our powers of manifestation.

Green Quartz. This stone helps attract abundance in all forms and increases our powers of perception so that we can see the “Tiny Miracles” more clearly.

Today’s Message: Divine Partners

1026:  The Universe and its helpers assist us in many ways. For example, they help to ensure that our needs are being met. While sometimes it may not feel that way, in all reality it is. In today’s’ society people tend to want more than what they need to live, it’s an ego trip and if you look around you can probably find a surplus of THINGS that you could do without.  When the Universe tells us that they are making sure that our needs are being met they are speaking of necessities, money to pay our bills, food, shelter, clothing, etc.  However, they are here to assist not to provide excess. Working with the Universe is a partnership so if we aspire to have more then we need then we must to do our part to help make it happen.  Today we are reminded that our needs are being met for ourselves and our loved ones. Take a moment to offer gratitude for life and for what you have!

Today’s Spirit Helpers include:

Archangel Raphael teaches us that it is through our spiritual journey that we can heal our selves and our lives and regain our self confidence and faith. This opens our spiritual eyes so that we may see what we have and how blessed we truly are as it teaches us how to make room for new things through the clearing out process. He helps to clear the way so that we can achieve balance by removing the blocks associated with giving and receiving by promoting flexibility in thinking and attitude.

The Ascended Master Kuthumi helps us to navigate the distractions of everyday life. He encourages us to focus on what’s important right now and to stop fighting the things that we have no control over, which blocks our problem solving and creative flow.  Things flow easier when we are not struggling against the “what if’s and maybes.

The Hindu Goddess White Tara embodies the beauty of Divine love and shows us the path to strengthening or restoring our faith. She says:  “Come and sit beside me. I will help ease the worry in your heart and teach you how to replace it with gratitude and joy. This is where faith dwells and we must only open the doors and invite it forward.” Tara’s name means “star”, and like a star she helps to guide us along our path and through life.

Agate. This humble stone is the perfect one for grounding and balancing our energies. It also helps by raising our consciousness to access our higher self and promoting the awareness and acceptance of who we are and where we want to go in life. It nurtures our spiritual growth and inner strength by helping us to make the most of our life experiences

  Sunny golden Citrine helps increase our self esteem and is a powerful healer of old outdated patterns, which allows us to manifest new things. This stone also attracts abundance, but keep in mind that abundance comes in many forms not just financial, so stay open to them all.

Larimar helps to remove self-imposed barriers that may be keeping us from accepting our personal power and stops self-sabotaging behavior by bringing out the best in us. It helps us to see the things that we have to be grateful for and the tiny miracles that we take for granted. This sky blue stone also helps to ease our obsession for material things and shows us how to put things into perspective so that you manifest what you really need. It shows us how to go with the flow.

Celtic Tree Month of Reed/ Ngetal October 28-November 24

The month of Reed represents the mysteries of death and the hidden roots to all life it is sometimes called the “tree of doom” although it’s by no means a tree! But most of all it is the symbol for Samhain which is the beginning of the Celtic New Year.


PLANT INFORMATION

Reed is a marsh growing plant and while it is not considered a tree, it was named as such by the druids. This was due to the fact that like a tree, reed has a deep, dense root system. While reeds are found all over the world. From the humble reed the Druids made sacred darts and arrows. Pens were also crafted from reeds and were a sacred symbol of wisdom and scholarship. The reed can reach 12 ft. in height in marshy areas and usually in thick stands. The dried stalks produce a dry rattle that can have an eerie sound. The roots and seeds can be ground into flour. The the Celts and later people of the British isles, also used this plant to thatch their roofs. A well thatched roof kept all kinds of weather out and depending upon the kind of reed you used a reed roof could last for 15 to 75 yrs. And in many places woven reeds make beautiful baskets. Reeds were also a cheap substitute for candles, if you soaked them in fat they could be burned.

IN MYTH

In mythology reed is connected with Pwyll the ruler of the Underworld. Pywll was given a sacred stone for safekeeping. This Stone was said to represent the divine power of The King and Queen and thus this humble plant was associated with royalty. Ancient Mediterranean people also associated reed with royalty as did the Egyptians. They made scepters from reeds and if the scepter broke it was thought that the King had lost both virility and vitality.

IN MAGIC

In magic Reed has the following uses: Growth, Healing, Harmony, Willpower, Loyalty. Reed is said to be useful when one is ready to expand their awareness both spiritually and mentally as well as balancing your energy. And as a herb for Samhain it can be used in spells for travel to the otherworld and for Shamanistic soul retrieval.

• Reed, although not a tree but a grass-like plant, is usually associated with Samhain, the Celtic New Year.
• The Reed Moon means winter is approaching. It is a month of turning our energies toward hearth and home. The tree symbolizes family, fidelity and trust.
• Reeds are burned to honor household spirits and a family’s patron deity; and in ancient Scotland, a broken reed was an omen of familial betrayal.
• Reeds may be placed through your home, especially the kitchen area, to bring the blessing of unity to your family.
• Reed represents the turning within that we must undergo to nurture our souls hunger for spirituality.
• The reed’s qualities include protection, spiritual progress and hunger for truth

REED PEOPLE

People born during the month of Reed can be cocky, arrogant and uncompromising which gives them a forceful energy. Reed people are not competitors but rather the catalyst that makes things happen because they have great dramatic flair and plenty of passion. This dramatic flair helps them to role play well and you will rarely see a Reed person show weakness although on the downside they can take great pleasure in pointing out weakness in others. However they are fantastic caretakers of both property and family and make strong friends. They are half of a dual sign in which the other half is made up of Ivy (which is the next Celtic Month). As a magickal name Reed is wonderful for caregivers or if you wish to give your personal energy a boost.

Today’s Message: Accepting The Challenge

1025: Changes happen all the time, some we initiate and some simply happen and take us along for the ride. Does this sound familiar? Today the Universe wants us to know that the life changes we are experiencing are for the best. and that it is time for us to allow for some much-needed personal growth. Change is often seen as scary or intimidating, however, it is all in how we perceive it. If we embrace the changes and see them in a positive light it becomes an adventure. In fact, life itself is an adventure, and we are explorers entering new and wondrous worlds filled with new opportunities and challenges. By accepting the challenge, you are forging a path into new territory where your dreams will become reality!

Mookite, a form of Jasper that comes in many creamy color combinations, promotes decision making and versatility. These things are important when we are faced with new experiences and find ourselves faced with the need to take action. Today’s Message: Embrace Your Spark

1024: Every day we are surrounded with divine love and protection. Our spirit helpers and the Universe are always near and ready to help. Over the last few days, we have been using our creator skills to assist in our personal evolution. This requires us to have both faith and courage. Through our faith, we draw upon our inner courage. And that courage comes from embracing and acknowledging your own divine power (your spark). If things feel a bit off kilter today, take a moment to ground and center, then remind yourself that you are worthy of creating and receiving great things. Embrace your dreams and follow your heart!

Today’s Spirit Helpers include:

Archangel Jeremiel helps us to make positive life choices. He understands that it’s hard for us to let go of people and situations even though they are holding us back or causing us unintended stress, drama or harm. Jeremiel can help ease these transitions and reminds us that concern about change is normal. Dalmation Stone. This lighthearted stone is a combination of quartz, microline and black tourmaline.  It instills feelings of safety as it helps us to reconnect with our playful side which is important to our emotional health, and it transforms outdated thinking during times when we feel stuck and enables our forward progress by encouraging a fresh perspective.

.Heliodor (Golden Beryl). This warm, sunny stone helps us to find clarity and illumination as it eliminates confusion of purpose.

 Unakite. This green and pink stone helps us to see blocks that we have erected within ourselves and then provides valuable insights on removing them so that we can move forward. It helps us to appreciate and gain clarity from the present moment and works with both base and heart chakras
