Come rambling awhile through this exquisite weather
Of days that are fleet to pass,
When the stem of the willow shoots out a green feather,
And buttercups burn in the grass!
-Edgar Fawcett (1847-1904)
MBG: 6 DIY Epsom Salt Baths Tailored To Help Ease Fatigue, Anxiety & More
Just as enjoying a cup of herbal tea can soothe myriad ailments from inflammation to indigestion to sleep problems, so, too, can a daily bath ritual infused with botanicals and herbs provide a therapeutic sanctuary tailored to the needs of your body, mind, and spirit.
Medicinal plants, flowers, and oils have been used in baths for thousands of years for relaxation, invigoration, and replenishment.
A Bountiful Moment
First ask yourself: What is the worst that can happen? Then prepare to accept it. Then proceed to improve on the worst. Dale Carnegie
Daily Thought:When adversity hits, and it will, develop a plan to move through it. This will help to maintain forward momentum vs. giving up and getting stuck, or becoming devastated and defeated. Think of what is the worst thing that can happen? Then think of all the ways you can to support yourself through the toughest time imaginable. There is always a way to make things better.
Daily Practice: Think of your biggest fears? Are they tangible or buried in your mind? What is holding you back from living your life to the fullest? Now develop a plan to move forward by creating support that will keep you from experiencing what you are afraid of.
Have a Great Day and Believe in Yourself!

Elephant Journal: Discover Your Bird Medicine & How It Can Change Your Life
Several days ago, I sat at my desk, contemplating the feelings I want to cultivate in my life.
As I was searching inward, I glanced up and saw a hawk soaring toward me directly outside my window. Its wings were outstretched, its movements confident and bold. That was exactly how I wanted to feel.
Whenever I am outside, or even just looking out the window, I like to read the signs in nature. I learned to do this in an experiential course on shamanism and spirituality that I took several years ago, where we learned how to connect more deeply with our spirit and communicate with the spirit world.
MNN: Why San Diego’s tides are glowing blue
Surfers, kayakers and beach-combers in San Diego, California, were greeted by a bizarre and beautiful sight: the ocean waters emitting a bright blue glow as the waves crashed and the tide came in.
The cause of this unusual phenomenon was a tiny organism called Lingulodinium polyedrum. This dinoflagellate (a type of algae) blooms every few years in the waters around San Diego, forming what is known as a red tide.
EarthSky News: Jupiter rising, Venus setting
They’re the sky’s 2 brightest planets, and they hang on either side of your sky now – Jupiter in the east and Venus in the west – shortly after sunset.
Patheos-Pagan: Garden Magic: Welcome to my magical garden
Whether you only have a window sill with a pot plant on, a small city terrace, a playing field or several acres, you can always work with the magic of your garden. I think the kitchen extends into the garden anyway, so a Kitchen Witch will often be found pottering around in amongst the plants.
“And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.”
— Friedrich Nietzsche
We never have enough information to enable us to fully understand the truth of the reality around us. And there is never only one correct perspective about anything.
Knowing this helps me let go of my tendency to label things as good or bad. I suffer least when I can accept reality just as it is. And I benefit most when I open my heart and mind in appreciation.
“If you are pained by external things, it is not they that disturb you, but your own judgment of them. And it is in your power to wipe out that judgment now.”
— Marcus Aurelius
A Note from the Universe
Your invisible limiting beliefs are only invisible when you live within their limits – or when you keep on doing what you’ve always been doing.
Push yourself. Dare yourself to think bigger, to reach, and to behave as if a dream or two of yours has already manifested. Then you’ll see them pop out of the woodwork, as if painted florescent orange, loaded to the teeth with logic, imploring you to turn around and go back to safety!
Do something, do it today, something you wouldn’t normally do. Like maybe… take off early from work…
Aha! Did you just see a couple of ’em?!

“We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.” -Thornton Wilder
A conscious heart: that’s something to strive for! I have heard it said that the longest distance is the distance between the head and the heart. Why is this? Why do we not trust our hearts? We “think” we know better, but do we? We feel alive, energized, and happy when we feel love and gratitude. Our treasures are all around us and within us. We have only to open up our hearts to it, to open up our awareness to it.
Beliefnet: The Healing Power of Yoga
Yoga is more than movement. It’s more than a mat or a set of stretches or a 90-minute activity to take the edge off the day. To Ally Hamilton, author of “Yoga’s Healing Power,” it is a way of life, and a path to healing. Yoga, which has more than 20 million American devotees, has definite physical benefits, helping people increase flexibility and relax their bodies. Yoga, as a system of thought, can also bring healing to the mind.
