While the bright radiant sun in centre glows,
The earth in annual motion round it goes;
At the same time on its own axis reels,
And gives us change of seasons as it wheels.

ThoughtCo: The Magic of Crows and Ravens
Although crows and ravens are part of the same family (Corvus), they’re not exactly the same bird. Typically, ravens are quite a bit bigger than crows, and they tend to be a bit shaggier looking. The raven actually has more in common with hawks and other predatory birds than the standard, smaller-sized crow. In addition, although both birds have an impressive repertoire of calls and noises they make, the raven’s call is usually a bit deeper and more guttural sounding than that of the crow.
MBG: Happy Arbor Day! Here’s Why We Should All Be Tree Huggers This Year
According to NASA’s latest satellite data, our world is only getting greener. That is, our tree cover is growing thanks to reforestation and better land management practices.
Elephant Journal: Do you Talk to Trees? Well, Maybe you Should.
If trees could talk, the conversation might go like this:
“You appear to be a tree.”
Spiritual Unite: Meaning Of Repeating Numbers – Attracting Your Attention To Your Right Path
The universe provides us with guidance in many ways, but perhaps the most common of these is number synchronicity.
When we experience synchronicity with repeating numbers, we need to sit up and pay attention.
EarthSky News: How do you star hop?
Amateur astronomers use star hopping to go from stars and constellations they know … to ones they don’t know yet. First, look for noticeable patterns on the sky’s dome. One very easy pattern to find at this time of year is the constellation Orion the Hunter. You’ll find it descending in the west after sunset. Orion is easy to find because it contains a very noticeable pattern of three medium-bright stars in a short straight row. These stars represent Orion’s Belt.
Patheos-Pagan: Beltane Solo Celebrations: Simple and Satisfying
Celebrating Beltane by yourself may not seem very appealing. After all, it’s all about, er…group activities. Right? Or at least a partner. I am here to tell you, fun can be had if you are in a solo situation!
USE YOUR POWER TO CREATE
“I am a child of God. I came from the womb of creation.”
— Tao Te Ching
Our grand business in life is not to see what lies dimly at a distance, but to do what lies clearly at hand.”
— Thomas Carlyle
We each play a role in the bigger game of life. In this bigger picture, life plays with energy and matter to expand, create, express and evolve. It explores new possibilities, realizes them and then reaches for even more. Life continually transforms what is into something brand new.
We choose how actively we take part in this cosmic dance. We can become mere spectators to life if we get stuck in old ideas that have lost their energy for us.
How much passion do you feel for your goals? Are you still being creative in how you work with them?
“Embrace fully your capacity to create, to think in unlimited ways, and to pursue everything that you have been wanting. Be flexible, open and willing to let the new come to you. “This can be the most joyous, prosperous, and creative time of your life.”
— Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer
Today’s Recipe: Mango Pocket Pies

Sacred herbs for the season
During Ostara or the Spring Equinox, seeds are given license to spout and grow along with our intentions for the budding year. Fertility rites are significant to the Witch and his/her garden. Through our rituals, we draw from the energies of the earth and mother goddess. As we continue the growing and manifesting process, the wheel turns to Beltane providing us with a reservoir of energy.
