Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops.

Tetraktys: A Wiccan Blessingway Ritual – How to Have a Spiritual Baby Shower

I have great news to tell: I am pregnant with my first child! So, last week, I celebrated my passage into motherhood with a ritual. I wanted something different from the traditional baby shower, that would be more meaningful to me. I did a little bit of research and I decided to have a Blessingway ceremony. In short, a Blessingway is a woman-centered ritual that celebrates the journey into motherhood

Spiritual Unite: Synchronicity: The Universe’s Software Programs

Despite the recognition that Carl Jung has received throughout the last century or so, the importance of his work still cannot be stressed enough. The real beauty of Jung’s work was his ability to conceptualize a variety of esoteric, even shamanistic concepts through scientific, empirical observation.

ThoughtCo: Recipes for the Beltane Sabbat

Beltane is a time to celebrate the fertility of the earth, and the return of spring blossoms and blooms. It’s a season of fire and passion, and when many of us honor the wild and lusty god of the forests. Beltane is a time for planting and sowing of seeds; again, the fertility theme appears. The buds and flowers of early May bring to mind the endless cycle of birth, growth, death, and rebirth that we see in the earth. Try one of these seven seasonally-appropriate recipes for your Beltane celebrations!

MBG: This Week Kicks Off With A Retrograde & It Could Shake Up Your Foundation

On Monday, Saturn goes retrograde and reminds us to make sure we’re operating from a solid foundation.
Are you forging ahead against all odds? It may be time to pull the brake on that strategy when cautious, conservative Saturn pivots into its annual retrograde this Monday, April 29. For the second consecutive year of three

Daily Good: Butterflies Without Borders

Change is the only constant. And things are going to be different, not better or worse, just different. Our first impulse in the face of overwhelming change is often to resist and try to stop it from happening. How would it be if we could transform our fear into energy influencing the inevitable changes of life? Learn more about how some courageous people are learning to influence the changes facing Monarch butterflies

Elephant Journal: How to create an Energy Sanctuary & Altar in your Home, Bedroom, or Office with Crystals & Gemstones.

I first started learning about energy and crystals while working as a RN years ago.
I was in my first year as a new nurse—feeling exhausted, unbalanced, and stressed out, I was desperate to try anything.
I went to a shamanic healer who told me that I had unwanted negative energies in my aura from working in hospitals and, not only that, I was bringing them into my home.

EarthSky News: Moon and Venus grace eastern morning sky

Late April and early May 2019 present the moon and the planet Venus adorning the eastern sky before sunrise. From most places worldwide, these two brilliant worlds can be viewed at dawn if you’re blessed with clear skies and an unobstructed horizon. After all, the moon and Venus rank as the 2nd-brightest and 3rd-brightest celestial bodies, respectively, after the sun. Unfortunately for far-northern latitudes, like Alaska, viewing the moon and Venus will be extremely difficult because the moon and Venus rise about the same time as the sun at those far northern latitudes

Patheos-Pagan:  Preparing for Beltane and the Love Spell of Life

I never believed in love spells.
But he was walking away from me, pulling away from me. And I wanted nothing more than to bring him back. I didn’t know what I was doing, but I trusted in a book whose name I can’t remember now.
I chanted something. Burned something. I’m sure a candle was involved. Red, of course

Inner Journey:

Labels limit us

“When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.”
— Lao Tzu

How do you define yourself, to yourself and others? Are you first and foremost a husband/wife? A mother/father? A bus driver, dentist, musician … ? A Christian, Muslim, Jew …? A nag, joker, dreamer …?

Be aware that any label puts limits on you. Today, experience how it feels to let go of the labels to rest in ‘I am.’ Feel the freedom, the spaciousness, the infinite potential of simply being.

“With every breath, the possibility of a new aspect of self arises.”
— Wayne Muller

“As long as I am this or that, I am not all things.”
— Meister Eckhart

A Note from the Universe

For the one who continues failure becomes impossible.

Today’s Recipe: Easy Japanese Croquettes

These “croquettes” are easy to make, and yummy with the crispy outside, and soft insides with potato, onions and ground beef. They can be served with rice, shredded cabbage or fruit. This is a real easy dish to make, and a great way to also use left over mashed potatoes when you have them.

Daily Wisdom
April 29, 2019

“Those who understand only what can be explained understand very little.”

-Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach (1830-1916)

There is so much more to this world that what we can actually see and hear and feel. There is so much that is without explanation, but that is beyond explanation. There are unlimited possibilities all around us, at all times – how could we even venture to guess what they all could be? When we realize that our lives can open up to these possibilities, we allow understanding to pour in and nourish us.
