Communication is important in any relationship. It’s how we make things work, work things out and strengthen our ties with those around us. Real communication requires effort from both people, every day, and all the time. However, the truth is that not everyone is willing or able to communicate on an in depth level, and try as we might we simply can’t force them to talk things out. They would rather ignore it, bury it, forget about it (maybe you will too) and hope it goes away, because if they don’t they might have to take responsibility for themselves. Lack of communication is a relationship killer and there comes a time when we must look at that relationship and decide if it’s really worth it.
