To live is to choose. But to choose well, you must know who you are and what you stand for, where you want to go and why you want to get there. – Kofi Annan

724:  Sometimes things happen that make it difficult to stay on our chosen path. Everyday brings us new challenges and distractions (OOOoo look! Shiny!!) These distractions often come in the form of well meaning people who “just want to help”. (We all know a few of these right?) Just remember that it’s YOUR path and take the advice of other with a grain of salt. Be honest with yourself because you are the only one who knows what’s best for you. If the advice you are given doesn’t mesh or is an attempt to push in a direction you’d rather not go, remind yourself that the choice is yours to make. There are also times when we question ourselves particularly during times of change, self doubt or fear. If this happens today (or any day) take a moment to center and focus. Then ask yourself “Is this really what I want?” or “What is best for me right now?” Listen to the guidance that you receive and above all trust in yourself!

This part of you must be allowed to come forward, not smothered beneath fear, resentment or the expectations of others. Your fire will help you forge new paths!”

It’s calming influence helps us to ground and balance even during chaotic or upsetting situations. It also helps to promote the feeling of brotherhood. It also helps to clear and activate the heart chakra which is essential to embracing gratitude while promoting a loving and balanced approach to life and encourages a positive attitude and creativity.
• Orange Calcite helps us to embrace our own power and the abilities we possess while eliminating self defeating thinking. It also helps to balance the emotions and calm our fears so that we can work through problems and temporary setbacks so we may reach our full potential.
