Daily Dream Meaning: Fence

An obstacle dream.
1. The nature of the obstacle depends on the dreamer’s circumstances, as well as on other symbols in the dream.
2. If the scene on the other side of the fence is beautiful and peaceful, hope lies ahead, and if the dreamer gets over the fence, what he wants will indeed manifest in spite of obstacles.
3. If the land on the other side of the fence is barren and rocky, and/or the dreamer is having trouble climbing the fence, what you’re seeking may not be what it seems and it might be best to turn back.
4. Sitting on a fence indicates a major decision to be made.

Daily Good: Life Itself May Be A Koan

“Consider the Zen practice of the koan, the question or problem proposed by Zen masters to each other or by masters to students. The koan is a dilemma, a mystery which the rational mind cannot solve. The key to the resolution of a koan is a shift in the being of the student which allows for a new understanding of the question itself.” Rachel Naomi Remen shares more. { read more }

Full moon was May 7, 2020, and by May 8 the moon is in a waning gibbous phase, already beginning to rise later at night. For the mainland United States, the May 8th moon rises in the southeast nearly two hours after sunset. The days following full moon present the perfect time to catch a daytime moon over your western horizon after sunrise. Watch for it!

Inner Journey:

“You are free to believe what you choose and what you do attests to what you believe.”
— A Course of Miracles

You most likely believe that your experiences have taught you what is real and what is true – at least for you. However, what you may not know is that your beliefs – conscious and unconscious – have determined what you would experience.

Experiences do not determine what you believe. What you first of all believe is what you will experience. It follows, then, that if you wish to experience life in new ways, you need to examine your belief systems.

Change your consciousness and you’ll change your life.

“Sooner or later, those who win are those who think they can.”
— Richard Bach

A Note from the Universe
The very same magic, the very same that you used to get your first job, to find a best friend, and to heal what hurt, that even now finishes your sentences, beats your heart, and inspires your dreams, is the exact same “grade” of stuff that can make what you most want today come to pass.

Point being: You’ve already engaged it. You’ve already commanded it. You’ve already done the impossible… So what’s the big deal about doing it again?

Oh go on…

Daily Wisdom
May 7, 2020

“The fortunate circumstances of our lives are generally found, at last, to be of our own producing.”

-Oliver Goldsmith (1728-1774)

Fortune could be thought of in terms of money (“I made a fortune last year!” The Fortune 500, etc.) or in terms of luck (fortune cookies, “I had the good fortune to know him” etc). Either way, since we create our lives, we are ultimately creating the fortune in our lives – so we have to give ourselves credit where it is due!

-Lissa Coffey

Daily Tarot: The Lovers

Relax, take a deep breath, and don’t let any feelings of anxiety derail your plans for the day. A certain level of nervousness may be in the air today but it doesn’t have to be contagious and you don’t have to catch it. If a touch of anxiety serves to give you a greater sense of caution, that can be a good thing.
