ThoughtCo: Consecrate Your Magical Tools
In many modern Pagan traditions, magical tools are consecrated before use. This achieves a couple of things — one, it purifies the item before it is used to interact with the Divine. Secondly, it removes any negative energies from the tool.
MBG: Two Mindfulness Techniques For People Who Can’t Sit Still, From A Meditation Icon
Mindfulness can feel a little daunting for some. While there is really no “right” way to do it, many people may brush off the practice, saying something along the lines of “I just can’t sit still.” But mindfulness doesn’t have to be difficult or require a huge investment of time.
Daily Dream Meaning: Clock
A symbol for time passing.
1. If you dream of watching a clock ticking, with the hands moving steadily, this is a warning that you need to stop wasting time.
2. Winding a clock or watch indicates that you are taking control of the situation.
3. Hearing a clock strike indicates that the time has come for some positive action

Elephant Journal: My 5-Minute Morning Meditation for Self-love & Empowerment.
It is important to integrate the mind, body, and soul by following a daily spiritual practice.
Consistency is key, so spiritual practice should be made part of daily routine. However, amidst the bustle and stresses of daily life, it’s not always practical to achieve this—especially when there are so many different spiritual practices we are advised to undertake: meditation, journaling, yoga, cutting cords, grounding, and the list goes on.
MNN: Moths are the unsung heroes of pollination
Meet the pollinator that does its best work at night. That’s right. The modest moth. You may have been expecting something a little flashier. A firefly, perhaps.
But, as Travis Longcore, a scientist at the Urban Wildlands Group, told Tom Oder for an earlier story, “Often in nature it’s the things we don’t notice that are doing a lot of the work.
EarthSky News: After sunset, use Venus to find Mercury
Given clear skies and an unobstructed western horizon, the dazzling planet Venus – and the planet Mercury, our sun’s innermost planet – will be yours to behold after sunset from about mid-May 2020 until nearly the end of this month. It’ll be the Northern Hemisphere’s best evening apparition of Mercury;
Patheos-Pagan: Protection Magick: Why And How It Is Useful In Everyday Life
As a Witch, I understand that to practice magick means to tap into and direct energy toward an intention. I understand that thoughts are not idle and words do have power. Emotion has energy with attributes that can be directed toward me (or from me toward others) in spellcraft.

Inner Journey: Slow down
“The soul requires duration of time — rich, thick, deep, velvety time — and it thrives on rhythm. Soul can’t be hurried or harried …. We may go through many events in the day and experience nothing because the soul has not had the opportunity to feel them from many different points of view.”
— Robert Sardello
Soul cannot exist when our connections in life remain superficial. An experience of soul requires that we take time to be fully present to the details of our lives.
Explore what happens when you take the time to STOP and PAY ATTENTION. When we choose to slow down and really experience the qualities of our lives, we get a whole new perspective on what living is all about.
“We must not allow the clock and the calendar to blind us to the fact that each moment of life is a miracle and mystery.”
— H. G. Wells
“The well of Providence is deep. It’s the buckets we bring to it that are small.”
— Mary Webb
A Note from the Universe
The more you believe in appearances, in the story told by your physical senses and in the circumstances that you now find yourself in, the less control you have over them.
What’s real is your power to change them.
All things are possible.
Today’s Recipe: Thai Peanut Chicken
This is a very tasty Asian-inspired dish made with chicken and broccoli in a spicy peanut sauce. If you like it mild, use less cayenne, like it spicy, use more. If you’re salt conscious, use low sodium soy sauce.

“Life hath its phases manifold,
Yet still the new repeats the old;
There is no truer truth than this:
What was, is still the thing that is.”
-Julia C.R. Dorr, 1892
Nature presents such beautiful examples for us to learn from. Look at the changing over the seasons. Every day is different. And we go through extremes. And the seasons cycle and it seems like we’re back where we started… except we’re not! It’s a new spring, or a new fall, and we’re new right along with it.
Daily Tarot: The Hanged Man
Everybody falls victim to a misjudgment or a faulty calculation sometimes, so don’t let that be a reason to grind to a halt and stop working on what matters to you. Sometimes deception is involved, but that does not free you from the obligation to try and set things right. It’s all about being responsible, and that’s what you want to be, anyway.
