Spirit Library: Adjusting To the Light (a message from Kate Spreckley)
In the last few months we’ve experienced a kind of hurry up and wait kind of energy which has made it difficult to get things going. We have been adjusting to a new light which has made life somewhat uncomfortable.

ThoughtCo: Mabon Incense Blend
As the Wheel of the Year turns with each season, you may wish to use different types and scents of incense for your ceremonies and rituals. While incense isn’t mandatory for a good ritual, it certainly can help to set the mood.

MBG: 3 Signs Your Spirit Guides Are Speaking To You In Your Dreams
Are you writing off your recent dreams as anxiety? Or a way for your busy mind to process the day? While these factors likely play some role in dream formation, they may not tell the whole story. We still aren’t sure exactly what causes dreams, but I’d venture a guess that a lot of our dream life is directed by spiritual forces.

Elephant Journal: Creative Therapy: Why Crafting Brings Me more Peace than Meditation.
I’ve learned reflection and insightfulness are two of my greatest attributes.
I’m constantly striving to be the best version of myself and I’m always fighting to be emotionally and mentally healthy for my kids.
According to literature, meditation, baths, and walks are all touted as great ways to calm the mind and are well known relaxation strategies.

Once upon a time, before cities banished darkness and electrified the night, a glow on the horizon betrayed not the presence of civilization, but a hauntingly beautiful phenomenon known as the zodiacal light.

EarthSky News: Tonight, find the Andromeda galaxy
Tonight, since the moon is waning and gone from the sky in early evening, find the Andromeda galaxy, the great spiral galaxy next door to our Milky Way. It’s the most distant thing you can see with your eye alone. It’s best seen in the evening at this time of year, assuming you’re in the Northern Hemisphere. Most people find the galaxy by star-hopping from the constellation Cassiopeia, which is a very noticeable M- or W-shaped pattern on the sky’s dome.

Patheos-Pagan: Coming of The Cailleach
As we head into autumn I can feel her…the time of The Cailleach draws near.
For those of you that don’t know me, The Cailleach is my matron goddess and has been with me for many years. She is a feisty, kick bottom, grumpy ‘ole bint, but she has proved me with support and guidance whenever I have needed it, even if I didn’t know it at the time.

Inner Journey: YOU KNOW THE WAY
“Woe to the man whose heart has not learned while young to hope, to love … and to put its trust in life.”
— Joseph Conrad
How deeply do you trust your own guidance?
Always trust that you know what’s best for you. To move forward in your life, gather information from the “experts,” consider how their advice relates to your situation and then act only on what feels right for you. You are the only expert for your own life.
“I trust so much in the power of the heart and the soul; I know that the answer to what we need to do next is in our own hearts. All we have to do is listen, then take that one step further and trust what we hear. We will be taught what we need to learn.”
— Melody Beattie
“I never know what the next lesson is going to be, because we’re not supposed to know; we’re supposed to trust ourselves to discover it.”
— Melody Beattie

A Note from the Universe
Have you wondered that if (when necessary) you just closed your eyes, took a few minutes, and redirected your thinking, the monsters might shrink, the grins might grow, and the floodgates might begin trembling again?

Gentleness
“Never take anything in life but flowers, and from flowers, only the perfume.”
-Emilie Carles, 1977
We can be gentle with our place on the earth, with our role on the planet. Flowers give us their beauty, and their fragrance. They are happy to share – it is their dharma, their purpose! When we are in nature, we can give respect, and not interfere.

Daily Tarot: Temperance
Pace yourself today and get more done than you might imagine as the day begins. It’s all right to be tired from time to time. It doesn’t have to cripple all your plans for the day. Maintain a sensible balance, remember to eat healthy, take a short break once and a while, and don’t aim too high. There’s plenty of work to be done that you can handle with ease.
