MBG: Heads Up: This New Moon Will Be Extra Emotional, According To Astrologers
New moons are the perfect time to begin a new cycle, set intentions, or start a big project—and we’ve got one just around the corner on March 13. And from an astrological perspective, this particular new moon might feel like an especially emotional one. Here’s why, plus how to roll with it:
Herbal Musings: Mugwort: Herbal Liniment Recipe
Mugwort is mildly invigorating to the nervous system, reducing tension related to fatigue and increasing circulation in the nerves and muscles (Wood, 2008). This works internally and topically too! In Medicine of the Earth, author Susanne Fischer-Rizzi (1996) says, “After a strenuous hike or a long day on one’s feet, a mugwort foot bath will relax and invigorate tired legs and feet” (Fischer-Rizzi).

Inner Journey: BE TRUE TO YOURSELF
“In the final analysis, we count for something only because of the essential we embody, and if we do not embody that, life is wasted.”
— C.G. Jung
Where are you not being true to yourself?
All blocks arise when we’re not being authentic, when we’re not being true to ourselves. We know we’re not being authentic when we feel discomfort of any kind.
When our thoughts, feelings and actions align with our essence, we express the qualities of soul. Always trust that your soul knows what’s best for you.
Believe in yourself and act on your ideas. Give yourself permission to do what you want with your life. Take the initiative to set meaningful goals for yourself and achieve them. Begin to tell yourself why you CAN have what you want!
“A true knowledge of ourselves is knowledge of our power.”
— Mark Rutherford

Women and Men
“My research suggests that men and women may speak different languages that they assume are the same, using similar words to encode disparate experiences of self and social relationships. Because these languages share an overlapping moral vocabulary, they contain a propensity for systematic mistranslation.”
-Carol Gilligan, In a Different Voice (1982)
Communication. Ask any relationship expert and they will tell you that the major issue between men and women is communication. But this is true in just about any relationship. Parents and teenagers, employers and employees, teachers and students. We need to really listen, to make sure that we understand and are understood.

Daily Tarot: Strength
Act with boldness, but not too much, and make this an easy and productive day. If something challenging or unexpected arises at work or with family, be receptive and stand your ground. Don’t push back until you know what it is you’re up against. Then if needed, give as well as you get. You can do this tactfully
