“From Heaven I fall, though from earth I begin.
No lady alive can show such a skin.
I’m bright as an angel, and light as a feather,
But heavy and dark, when you squeeze me together.
Though candor and truth in my aspect I bear,
Yet many poor creatures I help to insnare.
Though so much of Heaven appears in my make,
The foulest impressions I easily take.
My parent and I produce one another,
The mother the daughter, the daughter the mother.”
- James Parton, A Riddle – On Snow

Spirit Library: Be Focused & Decisive
We are changing in ways that have never been experienced before and at a level that is creating a profound shift in the foundational structures of our physical reality. As a result, we are being called to strip away and expose everything that originally informed our lives, the layers of belief, patterns and structures which have defined us both individually and collectively.

Daily OM: The Feeling Underneath
Apologizing chronically can be a sign that you are not feeling that you have much self worth.
Many people suffer with the tendency to apologize all the time, chronically, for everything. On the one hand, apologizing is a social convention that keeps interactions between people polite, and in that way it can be very helpful

May the East fling open your windows,
and fill your rooms with air;
May the South send you strong sunshine,
and give you the strength to dare;
May the west wash rivers into your
heart, and oceans into your soul,
May the North share the secrets and
gifts of the earth,
to heal and make you whole.
Treehugger: Turn Your Garden Into a Refuge for Rare and Endangered Plants
Gardeners can help conserve species by propagating certain species at home.
Gardening in a sustainable way allows us to meet many of our own needs. But it can do far more than just that. In our eco-friendly gardens, we have the power to become part of the solution for much bigger global problems.
EarthSky News: What is the zodiac?
The zodiac, the 12 signs listed in a horoscope, is closely tied to how the Earth moves through the sky. We derive these signs from the constellations that mark out the path that the sun appears to take through the year. You might think that dates in a horoscope correspond to when the sun passes through each constellation.

A NEW LOOK AT OLD ATTITUDES
“I can change. I can live out my imagination instead of my memory. I can tie myself to my limitless potential instead of my limiting past.”
— Stephen Covey
I was eating lunch with a friend who shared that she disliked one of the vegetables on my plate and hadn’t eaten any since childhood. I suggested that sometimes our tastes change and maybe she could give it another try. She did, and to her surprise, she enjoyed it. Her world became a little richer as she opened to new possibilities.
Is there something in your life you might be willing to give another try?
“Change. It has the power to uplift, to heal, to stimulate, surprise, open new doors, bring fresh experience and create excitement in life. Certainly it is worth the risk.”
— Leo Buscaglia
A Note from the Universe
I’ve got a feeling that this is going to be your kind of year. That you’ll be happier than you’ve ever been, laughing harder, smiling wider, standing taller, walking lighter, dancing crazier, hugging longer, living grander, loving louder, and if you want, selling the pictures to a tabloid to raise money for your new charity.
Can you feel it, too?

“Soon after a hard decision something inevitably occurs to cast doubt. Holding steady against that doubt usually proves the decision.”
Our convictions are constantly challenged. That’s just the nature of life. Even the foundation of the earth is challenged with floods and earthquakes, and yet it remains firm and steady. If we can hold up against the challenges and doubts, then it’s confirmation to us that we are doing what is right for ourselves, and we can be at peace with that.

Daily Tarot: Strength
It may be fun to take a risk or two, but this is not the day for it. You can fight your way through any difficulty, but why make work for yourself or put yourself in harm’s way? Remember, harm comes in more forms than just what is physical. If you need to blow off steam and exert your power, maybe take it to the gym.
