Believe It: Cat’s Angel Message for January 16, 2020

Believe It: Cat’s Angel Message for January 16, 2020

January’s Theme: Stay focused on your desires and not your fears or past happenings. Our thoughts are ready to manifest into reality so stay focused on where you want to go instead of where you’ve been.

Those who believe they can do something and those who believe they can’t are both right. – Henry Ford

116: Our thoughts and actions shape and create our reality and the Universe is reminding us that we have the power within us to manifest anything and everything that we need.  Faith- Perspective- Focus are today’s keywords. Have faith in what you want to create (dreams and goals). Use your powers of perception and look for that “one good thing” and use it to create that first step. Stay focused on what you want and on your desired outcome and give them nudges and tweaks to keep things moving in the right direction and by keeping your expectations high you generate a mindset that embodies gratitude as it creates a positive flow of blessings.  The biggest key to the creation process lies in finding and maintaining a balance between our material and spiritual sides. Learning to appreciate and be grateful for what we have allows us to clearly see new blessings when they arrive. You are worthy of receiving the blessings the universe has to offer, add your magick to that and watch paths and doors open up!

The Archangel Raguel helps us to find our power and brings clarity when we feel conflicted about what to do next by providing a boost of energy and by bringing order to your thoughts. He also aids in the letting go process which is essential to moving forward. Raguel reminds us that sometimes people can get “freaky” when they see you moving off in a new direction and helps to smooth the way by resolving conflicts and disharmony with those around us as we work with our creative magic.

The Ascended Master Buddha helps us to find our “Attitude of Gratitude”.By acknowledging what we have to be grateful for we are filled with joy and inner peace which encourages positive flow. He also reminds us of the important balance between giving and receiving. When we are balanced we find the patience and inner peace we need to go with the flow and can help us embrace the “Tiny Miracles” in our lives as well.

The Hindu Goddess Kali is a dark mother and goddess of death. Each time we let go of something that no longer serves us we are in truth embracing a “little death” and fear often accompanies the letting go process. One of Kali’s greatest lessons is through our worst fears lies the freedom we gain in conquering them. She says: “Dreams must be created with focus and intent. I will help you to embrace the courage and motivation that you need to see things through to a successful conclusion.”

Our Sacred Stones for today include:

Iolite, also known as “Poor Man’s Amethyst” it is a stone of vision that assists our intuition and aids us in setting things in motion by staying true to yourself and your path while freeing you from the expectations of others. It helps us to live in the moment making it easier to snag the blessings given to us. It is also a soothing stone that calms emotions during times of change.

Okenite can be used to help clear away obstacles and teaches us that the universe is filled with unlimited possibilities when allowing ourselves to face and adapt to change. It helps us to find our inner strength so that we can finish what we start and helps replace bad habits with good ones.

Turquoise. This stone helps us with creative problem solving and promotes both balance and intuition. It is aligned with the Throat Chakra and teaches us to speak up for ourselves and speak our truth. Which can be a valuable asset when working with gratitude and our ability to create for ourselves.

Bright blessings for a magickal day!

Thought For The Day: Jan. 16, 2020 “The Life Puzzle”

Happy Thursday,

Wouldn’t it be great if life came with step by step instructions? Everything all neatly laid out and fitting together in order. It’s a nice fantasy but the truth is that it doesn’t work that way. We take what life gives us and make the most with what we have until the next correct step comes along. Then we apply it and move on to the next. When creating our life puzzle remember to be patient. By doing so we will get what we truly want or in some cases something even better!

Daily Good: Kahlil Gibran on Befriending Time

“There is something odd about this notion of time as property. We are asked to give things time; we speak of taking time off of something, time toward something. But how do we give or take this fine-grained sand that slips through the fingers the moment we try to cup it? Perhaps time is not so much the substance in the hand as the substance of the hand.” Maria Popova explores Kahlil Gibran’s reflections on time in this post.

MNN: Gingko biloba trees guard a secret fountain of youth

As humans age, our bodies start to slow down and get creaky. But the same doesn’t happen with the ginkgo biloba tree.
It’s hardly a fair comparison, as these living fossils with the iconic fan-shaped leaves can live more than 1,000 years. Some of the oldest fossilized ginkgo leaves date back to 200 million years ago.

Inner Journey:

TIME TO CHANGE?

“When coasting in our comfort zones, we don’t grow. We continue to do more of the same…. Maintaining a comfort zone can, paradoxically, lead to discomfort in the long run. If by being comfortable we avoid important life issues, internal tension accumulates…. Eventually, as both internal and external pressures for change persist, the ‘comfort zone’ ceases to serve us.”
— Eric Allenbaugh
It takes effort to change. What do you most want to change in your life? Make a list of what you can do to start the process. Try journaling, perhaps. Read books. Take a course. Find a mentor. Seek out support.
How will you commit time to make it happen? When are you going to start? Your life is passing quickly!
“Be not afraid of changing slowly; be afraid only of standing still.”
— Chinese Proverb

Flowers

“Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”

-Jesus (A.D. 1st cent.) Matthew 6:28

Consider the effortlessness with which flowers grow and bloom and share their glory. We are like flowers, each individual, each unique – and yet, how often do we try to change our colors to fit in with a particular landscape? We can learn from the simplicity and beauty of nature. We can choose to bloom where we are planted.

Daily Tarot: The Moon

It’s possible that you’re putting yourself under more stress and pressure than anyone or anything else going on around you. It’s not necessary to beat yourself up emotionally like this. Things are fine and you can make things even better if you curtail the urge to obsessively dwell on only what and who is letting you down. Be your own best friend and give yourself credit for what you’re doing right.

Just Flow: Cat’s Angel Message for January 15, 2020

January’s Theme: Stay focused on your desires and not your fears or past happenings. Our thoughts are ready to manifest into reality so stay focused on where you want to go instead of where you’ve been.

One can flow harmoniously with the River – or one can struggle fearfully against the River – and the River just flows. – Jonathan Lockwood Huie

115: The new year just like any new cycle brings new beginnings and change. Remember that the key to embracing change lies in our perception of it and how we deal with it. There are three options where change is concerned:

Fight it: Struggling with change keeps us from growing (emotionally, mentally, spiritually) and creates unneeded stress which can keep us from achieving our desired dreams and goals.

Ignore it: Change will happen anyway, however, we forfeit our control of the creation process and can wind up settling for less.

Work with it: This allows you to take an active roll in the creation process. By embracing change we can set things in motion then allow things to unfold naturally and nudge things along as needed.

Today the Universe is asking us to make friends with change and to elevate our thinking. Stay focused on what’s important in your life and continue working toward a positive outcome. Accept that these changes are happening for your overall good and that it’s time to open the doors to new adventures.

The Archangel Jeremiel is in charge of life reviews and changes. He can help you see everything that you have accomplished recently as well as the areas that need attention and helps us to let go of what we no longer need. He teaches us that by taking inventory of our lives we gain a clear perspective of where we are on our path, which in turn helps us to make positive life changes. He removes our fear of change and what the future holds and replaces them with a sense of expectant excitement.

The Ascended Master Vywamus encourages us to continuously and consciously seek inspiration through the discovery and rediscovery of our own natural abilities and talents. He teaches us that healing can be found in change. If something is holding you back he can teach you how to let it go or let it be so you can continue moving forward.

The Greek Goddess Hecate teaches us about the importance of change. She helps us to release the past and the old things that keep us from moving on and how to accept change and transition. She tells us: ” I am the guardian of the crossroads. Remember that to move ahead you must face your fears and release the past. Change and circumstance are inviting you to choose a path. It is your choice so make the one that is best for you.”

Our Sacred Stones for today include:

Tiger’s Eye helps build a bridge between you and your power. It shows us the correct way to use our power and invites our integrity forward. It is also a stone of abundance and draws good things to us while helping us see the blessings we have. Tiger’s Eye helps us to accomplish our goals by showing us how to recognize and access our inner resources and the promotion of clear intentions. It is a stone of luck and prosperity and works with the energies of both earth and sun, it also helps with grounding while drawing spiritual energies to earth.

Gentle Seraphinite helps to clear the heart chakra opens us to love on all levels. It is also used to review the progress that you have made in life and shows the changes that we need to make to best helps us on our path.

Smoky Quartz helps to neutralize negative energy and teaches us how to work through the fear of failure which can show up during times of change and transformation. It also promotes clear insight and focus which helps us to leave behind the things that no longer serve us and make room for the blessings headed your way

Thought For The Day: Jan. 15, 2020 “Gentle Patience”

Happy Wednesday,

Healing takes time. Some things are easy to get over while others can take longer. There is no right or wrong way to heal and it takes as long as it takes, it’s never easy and almost always messy. Give yourself a little extra care and above all be patient with yourself. Take baby steps, don’t force and don’t rush. You have time and you can do this!

Clouds and Sun

cloud sun

Clouds and sun set the mood.

I feel like the sun today; trapped behind that wall of darkness.

I fight to free myself and shine only to be blocked, covered, absorbed by something that should never be able to hold me. I’m tired and feel myself falter; weary.  I look to the sun for guidance. It is there, still bravely persevering to be free.

Through the sun and shadow, the Desert Goddess speaks to me:

Be easy my child. Find your sun-fire within! Nothing can stand against it. See how the sun triumphs over cloud? It is the same with you!

Heal yourself in the sacred fire of the soul and burn away the shadows and darkness that hold you. These embers will ignite and fill your heart and spirit with a blazing light like a thousand suns! All will be well child.

And the sun which has been hidden breaks free of its cloudy prison. The warmth floods my face and its healing rays fill my empty being. It sears my soul with hope and an aching desire to reach and grow and set myself free!

Inner Journey:

TIME TO STOP SEEKING?

“If there are so many seekers, why are there so few finders?”
— Eckhart Tolle

Perhaps we’ve misunderstood the whole concept of a spiritual journey. The term ‘seeker’ means we are looking for something we believe we do not have now. It places all hope on the future because as a seeker, we haven’t yet found our salvation.

Tolle encourages us to experience the truth of who we are by being present right now. If we do that, we don’t have to seek anything. We already have everything and can relax and rejoice in the power of being.

“There is surely nothing other than the single purpose of the present moment. A man’s whole life is a succession of moment after moment. If one fully understands the present moment, there will be nothing else to do, and nothing else to pursue.”

Flowers

“Earth laughs in flowers.”

-Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)

Flowers are an expression of joy. It seems like a miracle that the earth can produce such a variety of species, so colorful, vibrant and full of life. Is it any wonder that we’ve made such a tradition of giving flowers in courtship? Sometimes flowers say what words cannot.
