Spiritual Epiphany

old-gm-road

I’ve been watching the clouds today. I love to see the wind moving them about making patterns of white and grey against the blue sky. It reminded me of something I wrote awhile back. I was sitting up on Chalk Mountain on the Grand Mesa just enjoying the day. The sun, the wind, the sound of bird song and the scents of Mother Earth waking up made it a very spiritual experience……

Spiritual Epiphany

Spring is coming to the mesa and the
wind driving down from the north is still
cold, but carries with it the scent and
promise of a new season.

The cedar and juniper trees are chattering
to each other; gossiping like long lost friends.
Their voices blending with the voice of Shu the wind,
and then separating as individuals once more.

In the dome overhead Shu is herding the cloud
people; pushing them along to some unknown destination.
As I watch, I find myself wondering why the big hurry. It
seems a waste on such a glorious day.

The birds however, refuse to be dictated to by
the wind. A pair of ravens are riding currents; dipping
and wheeling, while a host of smaller birds play tag
in the trees.

Everywhere are signs of the anticipated awakening;
the trees are haloed with the yellow-green of new growth;
the horn of a deer laying abondoned on the ground; the
miniature rivers of water escaping from the snow along
the road.

Look and you can see the Goddess rising and stretching
in the Gods growing power. With the rebirth of the land
so are we reborn. Spring brings a spiritual epiphany and
our very spirits rejoice in our rebirth.

Taking Things for Granted: Cat’s Angel Number for Feb. 21, 2017

February’s Theme:  Trusting in the “unseen” and  believing in yourself puts you on the path to manifesting great things even though the results may not be visible just yet!

The enlightened give thanks
for what most people take for granted.
– Michael Beckwith

Good Morning  Beautiful Light Beings,

221: One of the things that the angels ask of us is to live our lives with the “Attitude of Gratitude”. We all have many things to be grateful for however, today the angels are asking us to focus on the people we are grateful for. Family, Heart family, friends all play an important role in our lives. Take a moment to acknowledge your gratitude towards them and bless them with peaceful, loving energy. Do not be afraid to let them know how much their presence means to you, ” I’m glad that you’re here”, Thank you for being a part of my life”, “I love you”, these words can mean so much. Allow your gratitude to fill you and know in your heart that these blessings will continue to flow around you and your loved ones!

Affirmation: I am grateful for the love and friendship that surrounds me.

Spiritual Helper: Archangel Jophiel helps us to think beautiful thoughts and share them with others.

Crystal Helper: Kyanite teaches us to speak from the heart. Green Kunzite (Hiddenite) eases the way  to acceptance and comfort from others.

     Blessings for a magickal day!

What are Angel Numbers?

Your guardian angels are with you everyday helping you along life’s path. Along the way they show you signs, sometimes it’s a physical object like a feather, stone or some unusual object dropped in your path. Other times they will show  you a number sequence, over and over. It could be numbers on a clock, sales slip or license plate. When this happens your angels are trying to give you a message!

Well…………hello there!

Starting this blog has been on the back burner long enough, I guess I figured that no one would be interested about what goes on in my world. I usually stick to the Daily Angel Numbers that I post on my store website and various daily offerings on my Facebook group, Sacred Spirals. But now it’s time to get myself back on track. This may be a bumpy ride until I get the hang of it……so I hope that you will bear with me.

Somewhere along the way I seem to have lost part of me so part of my intention here is rediscover and recreate those missing pieces. And just maybe it will help some of you as well.

How about I tell you a little bit about me. I’m 50 and married (the second time was the charm!), I have cats…6 of them, all rescues. I’m a jewelry maker, amature photographer and belly dancer with Sultan’s Pride Middle Eastern Dance Troupe. Grand Junction, CO has some of the best outdoor opportunities in the world (in my opinion) and my husband and I take advantage of those, hiking, fishing, hunting, rockhounding and desert crawling. As stated earlier I have an online store (Cat’s Treasure Trove), I may not be much of a business person but I LOVE to create jewelry so I guess you can say that’s my job, or at least part of it. The part of my job is helping to care for my mother (she’s 84) who has entered the “curse of old age”…. dementia. I love my mom and it’s more difficult to deal with this that I usually let on. But as mom would say “Into each life some rain must fall”.

The final thing you need to know about me (for now) is that I’m Pagan. I studied wicca, native spirituality, crystal magick,Lightworking and Reiki. I talk to trees and animals and have a deep and growing connection to our desert. In the past most of what I have written about is nature from that pagan viewpoint. That’s what calls me, fills my heart and makes my spirit sing.  So the question is are you ready to explore with me?IMG_2904 a.jpg
