Spiritual Unite: White Owl Meaning | Owl Totem And Symbolism
The owl is a symbol of wisdom in many parts of the world. It holds intelligence and sees what others can not. Owls have the power of shapeshifting. They could change from animal form to human form. They are closely related to Moon and Night. Their insight has provided them night vision.

MBG: Your Sex Life Is Missing These 4 Essential Oil Blends
Our sex lives and libido can be tricky topics, as society continues to insinuate that we should be supercharged and ready to get it on at any given moment. Many of us hide in the shadows and avoid the situation altogether since things aren’t exactly, well, happening as quickly or in the way we think they should.

Elephant Journal: This is Why only You can Stop World War 3
The headlines that tease us about another “world war”? It’s not about them—“the other”—it’s about us.
It’s about you—and me.
The external war might all be our fault. We might be to blame—in our comfortable homes, with our eyes buzzing with the glare of the smartphones we spend half the day on. (Hard to admit that one, isn’t it?) We caused it. We are to blame.

MNN: Zoos ‘rename’ animals with hilarious results
From ‘Floaty River Unit’ to ‘Hidey McSlowpoke,’ here are some memorable new monikers.
Zoos and aquariums have been busy with a clever animal rebranding effort, posting photos of animals with less subtle names that are less about science and more about human psychology — like Stabby Rainbow Chicken or Barking Fuzz Potato. Here are just some of the best ones making the rounds on the Internet.

Patheos-Pagan: A Presence Beneath Our Feet: An Anecdote on Communing with the Mountain
Previously on Outside the Charmed Circle, I introduced the subject of an animistic, relational approach to working with the spirits of the land on which we live, and discussed both the inherent dangers and the absolute necessity of taking such an approach in a Pagan, polytheist, and occult context. It was suggested to me by a dear friend that, while my points may have been perfectly valid, they came across more as “avuncular advice from your wise old Misha” than might’ve been useful, and certainly more so than I’d intended.

Inner Journey: Give yourself free time
“What is it that makes all of us end each day with the sense that we have not lived our time, but have been lived, used by what we do?”
— Jacob Needleman
How can you free up more time for yourself?
All of the great masters counsel that we need time daily for solitude. And if our journey in life is to become more aware of who we are, then surely we need some free time each day to explore our inner landscapes and uncover our passions.
What activities can you cut out of your life to give you more growing room?
“Life is made up of moments, small pieces of glittering mica in a long, stretch of gray cement. It would be wonderful if they came to us unsummoned, but particularly in lives as busy as the ones most of us lead now, that won’t happen. We have to teach ourselves how to make room for them, to love them, and to live, really live.”

A Note from the Universe
Inevitably somewhere on that path between “have not” and “have,” you’re going to suddenly know in your bones that the tide has turned, the pendulum has swung, and the floodgates have begun “a-tremblin’.”
How? Email. This one.
Know it,

Dreams
“I’ve dreamt in my life dreams that have stayed with me ever after, and changed my ideas: they’ve gone through and through me, like wine through water, and altered the color of my mind.” -Emily Bronte, Wuthering Heights (1847)
Whether we’re talking about dreams that occur in our sleep state, or dreams as ambitions, we have these experiences for a reason. Dreams become a part of us, a part of who we are, and a factor in the decisions that we make. Embrace your dreams, pursue them, and watch them change and grow as you do.
