Wise Woman Herbal: Journey of Spiritual Discovery
by Ruth E. Danielson
As women we have the wonderful opportunity to experience many things in our lives. One of them being the opportunity to feel life growing within our bodies. This gives us a unique perspective on the value of life. It also gives many of us the peace within our souls that there is a higher power, a Divine, a God and or Goddess. Ultimately, we have the ability to create, just like our Divine did in the beginning of time.

November 2nd.
I wake to a swirling of white outside, catching in the kiwi vines and framing the edges of my window panes. The first snow.
Two nights ago marked the midway point between the autumn equinox and winter solstice here in the Northern hemisphere. This morning, I hear winter’s wild, haunting voice, calling in the wind as she gusts sidelong in powdery breaths.

Treehugger: African Wild Dogs ‘Vote’ by Sneezing
Humans aren’t the only animals who dabble in democracy. Herds of red deer, for example, only move when at least 60 percent of adults stand up. African buffalo also vote with their feet, while honeybees build consensus with headbutts.

EarthSky News: Watch for the moon and the Twins
On November 5 and 6, 2020, before going to bed look for the moon in your eastern sky. It’ll be a bright waning gibbous moon, and you might notice two bright stars in its vicinity. These stars are noticeable for being both bright and close together on the sky’s dome, and that is why – in legends of the sky – they often represent Twins.

Patheos-Pagan: Responsible Magic: The Importance About Caring About Other People
I saw a meme the other day about how given the culture we currently live in, that caring about others was revolutionary to the point of being punk. Given the amount of edgelords out there bragging about how they don’t care about anyone else but themselves, responsible magic is punk af.

Inner Journey: IMAGINE YOUR IDEAL FUTURE
“Your imagination is your preview to life’s coming attractions.”
— Albert Einstein
If you were to create an ideal future for yourself, what would it be like?
All things that now exist in form were once simply ideas in consciousness. We each hold the power to manifest different circumstances for our lives. If we wish to manifest a new reality for ourselves, we need to consistently focus our imagination on the ideals we seek to realize.
Remember to explore your ideal in terms of qualities, not people or things. What qualities do you most want in life? Freedom? Respect? Playfulness? Abundance? Whatever qualities you seek, imagine experiencing them now and be open to new ways to discover those qualities appearing in your life.
“Change is created by those whose imaginations are bigger than their circumstances”

Emotion
“Emotion: The human spirit experienced in the flesh.”
-Jerry Tucker
When we “wear our heart on our sleeve” it means that we show our emotion. Emotions can be positive or negative, but they certainly are an important part of our existence. Emotions are one thing that makes us human – we are here with these bodies to feel all these feelings and learn and grow from the experience.

Smooth your way through the day by being as respectable as time and circumstance require. Fit in, look and sound the part that you’ve been assigned, and get a lot done with very little or no resistance.
