The sun is set; the swallows are asleep;
The bats are flitting fast in the gray air;
The slow soft toads out of damp corners creep,
And evening’s breath, wandering here and there
Over the quivering surface of the stream,
Wakes not one ripple from its summer dream.
-Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822)

ThoughtCo: Divination with Stones
Lithomancy is the practice of performing divination by reading stones. In some cultures, the casting of stones was believed to be fairly common–a bit like checking one’s daily horoscope in the morning paper. However, because our ancient ancestors didn’t leave us a lot of information about how to read the stones, many of the specific aspects of the practice have been lost forever.
Blue Color Meaning – The Color Blue
Blue is a cool and calming color that shows creativity and intelligence. The color blue is a popular color among large companies, hospitals and airlines. It is a color that symbolizes loyalty, strength, wisdom and trust. Blue color meaning is also known to have a calming effect on the psyche.
Today’s Magickal Creature: Dragons
As one of the most popular mythological creatures in modern day, the dragon is no mystery. It does, however, have a lengthy history that many people are unaware of. When most people envision a dragon, they think of a large reptile-like creature with enormous wings that breathes fire and attacks castles. However, like all creatures of ancient lore, the dragon had more humble beginnings.

EarthSky News: Great Square points to Andromeda galaxy
Tonight, look for the nearest large spiral galaxy to our Milky Way. It’s becoming well placed for evening viewing from Northern Hemisphere locations. The Great Square of Pegasus is a great jumping-off point for finding the famous Andromeda galaxy, also known to astronomers as Messier 31.
Patheos-Pagan: Run Rabbit Run – An Augury For One
Augury – the practice of reading signs and omens in natural phenomena1 – is at best an inexact science. Our modern attempts to practice it are hampered by our disconnection from nature. People regularly ask me “I saw a crow – could the Morrigan be calling me?”
WHAT IF… ?
“The universe is full of magical things patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper.”
— Eden Phillpotts
What if you were to pretend that you were healthy, wealthy and wise? What if you were to decide to be happy, no matter what else was happening?
Take the power of ‘what if…’ seriously, and you will grasp the power to create a world of your own design. Everything, EVERYTHING begins in the imagination. Put it to work constructively for you.
“The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes.”
— William James
“Sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”
— Lewis Carroll
A Note from the Universe
Everything is optional, and every option holds a promise, and in every promise there’s a plan for the “best of your life.”
So, whatever you chose, or may yet choose, celebrate it.
To the conga line, “HEY!” –

“God hides things by putting them near us.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)
Isn’t this so true? It’s one of those “forest for the trees” examples. There is joy and love and beauty all around us, and right inside of us… and yet where do we look? Many of the great spiritual teachers answer every question they are asked with the same statement: “Look within.” They might say it in hundreds of different ways, but the meaning is the same. It’s so simple, and yet so complex- what a paradox!
Daily Tarot: Strength
Anger could raise its ugly little head today, but you have things under control. Don’t engage, if possible, and tactfully deflect the worst of whatever misunderstanding caused the outbreak. If it’s repressed anger, there may never be any loud or angry words. You can smooth any ruffled feathers simply by standing up and not being intimidated or rushed into any action or opinion. Be at your best today.
