Buds are bursting in the hedges,
Leaves are stirring in the lane,
Everywhere the sap is stirring,
Love returns to life again.

Beliefnet: 10 ways Chronic Stress is Killing Your Quality of Life
A certain level of stress helps us to adapt to our environment and pushes us to excel. The stress that is worrisome is chronic stress and it can affect you negatively in multiple ways.
While stress itself may not be a good thing, each of us is only here because of the stress response. Our ancestors reacted to a threat by fighting or fleeing, literally or figuratively, and so survived. Whether it was a food shortage or a physical threat,
MNN: Artisan tea farms are sprouting around the U.S
Tea played an important part in the early history of the United States. The Boston Tea Party of 1773 when 342 chests of tea were destroyed to protest a tax on tea, among other things was one of the events that helped instigate the Revolutionary War. Though coffee culture is more dominant in the U.S., tea is still widely consumed, but almost all the leaves that make their way into American teapots are imported.
A Bountiful Moment
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
Martin Luther King Jr
Daily Thought: Everyone is faced with challenges. There is no exception to this rule. We all have something that brings us times of discontent and worry. What does make us different is how you handle the adversity. Does it break you and leave you in a place of nowhere to go from here? Or does it give you a moment of pause to re-group and re-set to move on. Dont allow a challenge or internal controversy to stop you from your dreams. Rise above the situation and move forward until the challenge is no longer in view.
Daily Practice: Practice looking at difficult times or situations by looking at them from and outside perspective. View the challenge objectively. What would you tell someone else who is going through the same situation? Become your own best friend, or confidant. Support yourself through the difficult time and become stronger and wiser once it has passed.
Have a Great Day and Believe in Yourself!

OMTimes: 9 Tips to Clear Your Energy Now
The human experience involves both challenges and triumphs. It’s up to each one of us how we choose to perceive these experiences. We may choose to label an experience as good or bad; positive or negative. In reality, this is simply our perception or a personal assessment of the experience we have had. Nonetheless, these experiences are opportunities for learning and growth
Inner Journey: The Path to Wholeness
We think that God has blessed us if we don’t have too many troubles. In fact, religions have erroneously taught us that pain is punishment for our sins. We often ask, “What have I done wrong?” when things do not go the way we want.
Yet, to become ourselves in the truest and deepest sense, we must face our own duality, which of course includes facing our darkness. As souls we strive for wholeness, not for perfection.
At first, we really don’t know what is going on. We just find life difficult, challenging and often painful. Eventually, after much experience and reflection, we start to find meaning in it all. Eventually, we gladly accept the means whereby we can do the Soul work we have come for.
As we become conscious as Souls, we walk our journey purposefully, embracing the reality of our earthly nature along with the truth of our divine nature.
“When we are conscious of our personal uniqueness and our universal nature we express ourselves creatively. In this way we fulfill our dreams and our life purpose.”
— Andrew Schneider
A Note from the Universe
Whatever you focus on, you will experience.
So, when you talk about “what is” or “what was,” even if you’re just explaining to a friendly ear, you project more of the same into the future.
If you ask more than you give thanks, you’ll believe less in your own power.
And if you insist that it’s hard and that you’re lonely, you’ll find that it is and you are.
Or, you can choose to focus on what you like, what you love, and how very photogenic you are.
Today’s Recipe: Creamy Whey and Vegetable Soup
I learned how to make yogurts and cheeses from my mother, who recently told me to reserve the whey and use it in my soups. The result is an extremely creamy and full-bodied soup that’s full of protein. The batch of whey I used in this soup comes from my recipe for cumin spiced cheese, which is attached below.

“We do not see things as they are. We see them as we are.” ~-The Talmud
We’re each looking through different eyes, bringing our own experiences and emotions to whatever it is we’re looking at. This is perception. Perception can change. The TRUTH remains the same… but do we see it? Do we see spirit in everything and everyone? We must recognize the spirit within ourselves and then we will see it reflected back at us everywhere we go!
MBG: How to Make Essential Oils
Way before there were multilevel marketing companies selling essential oils by the pound, there were wise healers accessing the benefits of essential oils by making poultices, salves, and medicinal teas from the raw plants. In fact, plant medicine was the only medicine for thousands of years until the pharmaceutical industry began to provide other options. Now, as the pendulum swings from the prescription pad back toward the power of plants, its a great time to make sure you understand what essential oils are, how theyre made, and how to use them safely and effectively.
