Mine is the Month of Roses; yes and mine
The Month of Marriages! All pleasant sights
And scents, the fragrance of the blossoming vine,
The foliage of the valleys and the heights.

T he Spiritual Meaning of the Om Symbol – It’s More Than You Think
June 14, 2018
Hello everyone, here’s a new article about a well-known sacred symbol, and that is the “Om” symbol. Although it is commonly associated with Hinduism, Yoga or some New-Age ideas nowadays, the Om symbol has a way deeper spiritual meaning than what you might think. It is, in fact, associated with other Indian concepts such as Brahman, Atman and many other things. I’ll come back to it.

Spiritual Unite: Signs From A Deceased Loved One

Love is the most powerful force in the universe. When we lose a loved one, it is our love that means that they are never truly gone even though they have passed from the physical plane. It is also the strength of love that allows the departed to communicate with us. So if you have experienced a loss,

Adventure means something different to everyone. For some of us, it’s a 10-day hiking trip or a solo paddleboard adventure in the middle of the wilderness. For others, it’s trying out a new cuisine or biking to work instead of taking the bus. The fact that adventure can be big or small, extreme or perfectly simple is what makes it so beautiful and exciting.

Elephant Journal: We are All Connected—and Together, we can End the Turning Away.

“Just a world that we all must share,
It’s not enough just to stand and stare.
Is it only a dream that there’ll be
No more turning away.
~ Pink Floyd, “On the Turning Away”
The words of this song still haunt me 31 years after it was first written and released.
During the past three decades, I question if we have become a more compassionate society, or if the haze of indifference still blinds us from reaching out and helping one another?

MNN: This film takes you down Alaska’s Inside Passage in a wooden canoe

A single grand adventure as a young person can shape who you’ll be for the rest of your life. But how does it shape the rest of your family, including children who are born years after the adventure comes to a close? How does that event define you and the generations that follow?

These are the weighty questions explored in “The Passage.”

EarthSky News: Coyotes in the park

Coyotes are the most famous of the wild animals species that have returned to North American cities and towns in recent years. Encountering them can be unnerving.

Patheos-Pagan: What To Do When Spells Go Wrong

You’ve taken the time to plot the perfect day for your spell working. You’ve waited for weeks for the right moon phase in the right planetary alignment to support your goal. You’ve got the right candles, herbs, curios, tarot cards, crystals, incense, yadda yadda yadda.

Inner Journey:

“Relative to the level of awareness that is possible for us, our ordinary state of consciousness is as far from a direct experience of reality as sleep is from waking consciousness.”
— Don Richard Riso and Russ Hudson

“The thought ‘I exist’ is not the same thing as the awareness of one’s own existence. … Thought is not the same thing as consciousness.”
— Jacob Needleman

A person asked Buddha:
“Are you a God?”
Buddha’s reply was
“Are you an Angel?”
“Then what are you?”
“I am Awake.”

Daily Wisdom
June 18, 2018

“Any creative endeavor is channeled, whether it be music or art or theoretical science. We have the capacity to tune in to energies and to convert them into reality for ourselves.”-Frank Alper

At one important scientific conference, a group of scientists announced that with all of the new technology and their vast knowledge, that they could create life all on their own, with no help whatsoever from God. A reporter in the room challenged them and asked for proof. The scientists, confident in their claim, invited everyone outside for a demonstration. There, in an open field, one of them scooped a handful of earth, and said: “This is where we will begin.” And God’s voice was heard from above and He said: “Use your own dirt!”

This is a cute joke, and it calls our attention to the fact that we are creative beings, and that creativity comes from the Source of All things.
