Beyond me in the fields the Sun
Soaks in the grass and hath his will;
I count the marguerites one by one;
Even the buttercups are still.
-Archibald Lampman (1861-99)
Spiritual Unite: The Five Most Powerful Crystals For Healing
Most Powerful Crystals: Healing and energy crystals are a key part of spiritual life. They hold within them powerful energies that can help us in a variety of circumstances and situations. We should not mine any more crystals out of Mother Earth, only use what is already out. Mother needs them more than us.
MBG: Is The Universe Giving You The Green Light? Here’s How To Identify The Signs
Ever wondered if the universe was giving you the green light? Maybe it is.
Say you’re trying to decide if you should ask your boss for a raise or more flexible hours. And then, when you’re on your lunch break, you come across an article about how it’s important to be assertive and ask for what you deserve. In big and small ways, the universe will actively encourage us to go after something if it’s in our highest good.
Daily Good: 6 Habits of Hope
Hope is often viewed as the anticipation of circumstances being better in the future, but in this article environmentalist and social activist Kate Davies suggests that intrinsic hope is based in the here and now. Applying 6 habits of mindfulness to one’s daily life will allow us to live from a place of hope that embraces life as it is now in all of its beauty and complexity.
Be The Change

Elephant Journal: 10 Benefits of Speaking your Truth.
Honesty is a b*tch and I am being honest about that.
If we tell someone how we feel and they reject us, we wish we didn’t say anything at all. Every time we stand up for ourselves and then have to defend our words, we start to back up and hide.
MNN: Handy calculator helps you avoid a sunburn
Anyone who loves the sun faces a number of dilemmas. How much of which SPF of sunscreen to apply? How much time should you really be out there? And will the sun ever stop moving? (Because moving that chair every hour is a real pain in the neck.)
EarthSky News: Moon’s dark side faces Earth
Tonight – July 23, 2018 – see if you can make out the dark areas on tonight’s waxing gibbous moon. These smooth, low-lying lunar plains are called maria, the plural for the word mare), the Latin word for sea. You should be able to see the darkened portions on the moon with the eye alone. The dark maria on the moon’s near side – the solidified remnants of ancient lunar seas of molten magma – make the near side of the moon reflect less light than the far side, which has fewer maria.
Patheos-Pagan: Words from a Witch – Magickal Poetry
Witches love songs, spells and chants that rhyme or have a poetry flare. Sometimes the words come easily as if we are being told what to say or write. Other times, emotions fuel the fire. Over the years, I have collected a little book of some poems that have spilled out from my heart and soul. I shall share those with you now.
EXPLORE YOUR FEARS
“Fear is a question: What are you afraid of, and why? Just as the seed of health is in illness, because illness contains information, our fears are a treasure house of self-knowledge if we explore them.”
— Marilyn Ferguson
In our world of duality, fear and love sit at opposite ends of the continuum. Fear belongs only to the personality because it believes in separation and impermanence. The soul never knows fear because it understands the unity of all.
When fear arises, we can invite our soul to sit with our frightened personality. What soul energies are waiting to be acknowledged? When we bring higher energies into the presence of lower energies, the lower energies are transformed.
“What is needed, rather than running away or controlling or suppressing or any other resistance, is understanding fear; that means, watch it, learn about it, come directly into contact with it. We are to learn about fear, not how to escape from it.”
— Jiddu Krishnamurti
A Note from the Universe
The difference between how you sometimes see yourself, and how I see you, could be summed up like this:
You wonder, at times, what it is you might do that you’d be wildly successful at.
And I wonder, at times, how you seem to miss that you already are.

“Stung by the splendour of a sudden thought.” -Robert Browning (1812-1889)
Robert Browning describes inspiration so poetically. And isn’t that exactly what it feels like? Inspiration seems to come out of nowhere – but we really know exactly where it comes from – Spirit. In fact, the word itself means “in spirit.” So when we are tuned in with that divine energy, we are open to receiving that “splendour” at any time. And it is beautiful.
