Good Morning Beautiful Souls, grab a cup of your favorite morning brew and start things off with “Today’s Inspirations”. I hope you find something here that will make you feel good or help you on your path today.
Hail, old October, bright and chill,
First freedman from the summer sun!
Spice high the bowl, and drink your fill!
Thank heaven, at last the summer’s done!
-Thomas Constable (1812-81)
Spiritual Unite: Orbs Color Meaning: What Do The Different Colors Mean?
Orbs Color Meaning: Have you ever seen someone share a picture, where something orb like appeared in the photograph? Well orbs are very debated phenomena in the spiritual groups. Many say they are evidence of sentient being or spirits. However researchers have dismissed that idea of orbs being ghosts. There are many cases where orbs have shown up where some form …
MBG: How To Help Your Kids Cope With Back-To-School Anxiety
It is 8:25 a.m. on a Wednesday morning in July. I leisurely stroke Cam’s tan face and hair that feels thick with leftover sunblock. “Time to get up, sweetie. You have camp.” I love my summer days at the beach, late family nights listening to audiobooks, and road trips to Maine and beyond. My husband and I whisper about how nice the summer has been, hoping not to jinx it. The ease of summer is so much healthier—sports-free weekends, no homework, and unstructured time to just be a family. To be calm, bored even.
KarmaTube: The Missing People Choir
Located in London, the Missing People Choir consists of families with missing loved ones and volunteers who want to sing with them, bringing powerful support at times of tremendous grief. By coming together with others who have experienced such a traumatic loss, people are given strength and hope. “Where words end, music carries on” as choir members reach out to their missing loved ones by raising their voices in unison. The Choir has performed on Britain’s Got Talent to much acclaim.
Elephant Journal: The Struggle we Can’t See: How to Support our Friends with Mental Illness.
Imagine for a moment that you’ve made dinner plans with a friend.
You’re excited to check out the new swanky place downtown that recently opened. You go to the website and check out the menu, and you’ve really got your heart set on their crème brûlée when your friend sends you a text message.
MNN: Denmark’s hygge isn’t the only snuggly tradition in the world
Hygge is a warm and cozy concept that’s difficult to define. You’ll know it when you feel it and you typically feel it — at least in Danish culture — when the calendar turns to the cold, solitude-filled days of wintertime.
It’s a feeling and way of life that centers around coziness and companionship, including family and warm food as a buffer against loneliness, darkness and the cold.
EarthSky News: Which bird migrates the farthest?
Over its lifetime of about 25 years, an Arctic tern can fly nearly 3 times the distance from the Earth to the moon.
Patheos-Pagan: Everyone Loves a Witch Store in October
Everybody wants my job, or so I laughingly say. Customers check out with a wistful look, saying “It must be so great working here!” It is, and I am very happy. I manage a witch shop in Asheville, North Carolina. Or to cushion the shock for some people, I say it’s a “metaphysical book store.” It is both that, and so much more. It’s a community center, a hub, a respite, a place to feel empowered.
BELIEVE IN MAGIC!
“…for magic to happen in your life, you must believe in magic.”
— Grandmother, quoted by Lynn Andrews
“Most of the time, we fall in love but can’t remain there. The world then calls the state we were in a delusion or infatuation … But we merely lacked, or someone else lacked, the emotional skills to hold on to the magicwhen the morning came. …In truth, we can go to the moon and retain its magic for a lifetime.”
— Marianne Williamson
“We think, sometimes, there’s not a dragon left. Not one brave knight, not a single princess gliding through secret forests … What a pleasure to be wrong. Princesses, knights, enchantments and dragons, mystery and adventure… not only are they here-and-now, they’re all that ever lived on earth! Masters of reality still meet us in dreams to tell us that we’ve never lost the shield we need against dragons, that blue-fire voltage arcs through us now to change our world as we wish.Intuition whispers true: We’re not dust, we’re magic!”
— Richard Bach
A Note from the Universe
Sometimes instead of running from something scary in your life, it’s easier to learn not to be scared of it.

“Nothing in nature is isolated. Nothing is without reference to something else. Nothing achieves meaning apart from that which neighbors it.”
Everything we have, everything we see, everything we are, has its roots in nature. We are all made up of the same basic materials! Look at your desk, the paper, wood and wicker that come from the trees, which grow from the earth. We feel disassociated from nature when we work in an office, and yet we can never get away from it. The water that runs through the rivers, and through our taps, and through our bodies, is all a part of nature. We are connected to the planet, and to each other, in ways seen and unseen
