Allowing yourself to show emotion is healthy. Holding our emotions rigidly in check can increase depression, anger, stress and anxiety. It’s important to let people know how you feel, just as it’s important  to let them express how they feel. This communication process is necessary to build strong relationships both with others and yourself.
