Elephant Journal: 21 “Non-Spiritual” Things that make us Happy.

It’s the little things.
We can obsess about changing our lives, but if we’re all castle in the sky, and no feet on the earth, it’ll be tough stuff, and we’ll be pulled between bingeing and purging, and aspiring (when we’re hopeful) and hating on ourselves (if we fail). Willpower ain’t enough.

MNN: Many salamanders and frogs glow in the dark. (We just didn’t think to check)

During the day, the Cranwell’s horned frog is inconspicuous. It’s mostly a mottled-brown, striped creature with some dull green stripe highlights. But when researchers recently put the frog under blue light, it came alive with some amazing day-glo hues. The glow show was one of many discoveries unveiled in a new survey published in Scientific Reports.

EarthSky News: Moon sweeps past Pleiades and Aldebaran March 1 and 2

On March 1 and 2, 2020 – in the west, after sunset – the moon shines in front of the constellation Taurus the Bull. Taurus has two major signposts: the ruddy star Aldebaran, marking the Eye of the Bull, and the Pleiades star cluster, which is shaped like a tiny, misty dipper of stars. Also on these evenings, the moon’s lit side points directly at the dazzling planet Venus, which sits closer to the sunset horizon.

Inner Journey:

“Bias and impartiality is in the eye of the beholder.”
— Lord Barnett

According to Andrew Schneider, the radical difference between personality awareness and soul consciousness is a difference in perspectives. Acquiring a soul perspective allows us to see things differently – and we always see a more inclusive, universal picture. This expanded view adds to an understanding, enjoyment and appreciation of life.

If I insist on hanging on to a personality perspective that is contrary to a soul perspective, the two perspectives will clash. This challenges me to find a way through to a deeper truth than I previously knew. This kind of tension between soul and personality positions is typical of the prelude to transformation that is a vital part of the soul journey.

“I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead; I lift my eyes and all is born again.”
— Sylvia Plath

A Note from the Universe

Universal Personality Test:

Want to know how to tell whether you were born with the gift to heal? Or perhaps if your strengths lie in leadership? If you’re a left- or right-brained individual? Whether or not you’re truly a “people person”? Whether or not, given your beliefs… friends, laughter, and abundance will flow to you effortlessly, or should be diligently sought after?

Just decide.

“I am not a thing, a noun.
I seem to be a verb,
an evolutionary process –
an integral function of the universe.”

-R. Buckminster Fuller (1895-1983)

We are growing, we are learning, we are evolving – every minute, every day! This is an active process – an ongoing process. It is part of what makes us who we are, it is a part of the beauty of being human.

Daily Tarot: The Pope

Groups are the Pope’s main focus, so if you’re in a relationship, spend time with others in order to gain a greater perspective. If you’re single, going out in groups can increase your chances of meeting someone new. There is safety in numbers, and in staying with fixed and/or assigned romantic roles. Save thinking outside of the box for another day.
