Relationships are important and healthy relationships even more so. One of the keys to a healthy relationship lies in our ability to remain true to ourselves and continue being our own person rather than an extension of someone else. Relationships require both compromises, concessions, and give and take. However, it’s easy to lose pieces of yourself by trying to fit in, trying to live up to the expectations of others, or simply giving in because it’s easier to do so. Remember to always be yourself and be your own person. Our differences can make us stronger and more resilient. They keep life fresh and interesting and remind us that we are special, unique, and amazing. You’ve totally got this!
