When we are hurt by people and situations these things tend to stay with us. This causes anger, depression, self-doubt, and a myriad of other self-harmful thoughts and emotions. However, there comes a point when we need to let it go and move past it for your own mental and emotional well-being. It’s true that you may never really forget what happened. But if we learn the lesson we carry that knowledge and the “hurt” loses its impact and its hold over us. Remember that YOU have the strength to move forward!
