They are exceedingly low in the west after sunset. Look first for dazzling Venus, the sky’s brightest planet, above the sunset point. Then, as twilight deepens, search for these two embracing worlds beneath Venus, and close to the horizon.

This scenario is familiar. Have you ever been in a long line, and the person serving customers is just doing the best that they can. Maybe the place is understaffed, or unexpectedly busy. There always seems to be someone who complains, who is impatient, and who makes the experience more aggravating for everyone around. And then there’s the kind-hearted person who uses the time to chat with the other people in line, who steps up and smiles and thanks the person doing the work. That person makes the experience much more pleasant! Next time you’re in line, observe. And choose to wait wisely!
