Spirit Library: Not Wrong, New

Dear Ones,
Perhaps you believe the changes you noted within and without are merely a portion of the totality that is you. Such is both right and wrong.
In 3D, you are expected to age in specific ways with a few variations from person to person. In your new world, there are no expectations in terms of growth, aging, or the shifts within you. Everyone is evolving uniquely.

EarthSky News: A total lunar eclipse looks red. Why?
During a lunar eclipse, you’ll see the Earth’s shadow creeping across the moon’s face. The shadow appears dark, like a bite out of a cookie, until as the shadow completely covers the moon. Then, during the breathtaking time of totality, the shadow on the moon’s face changes. It often appears red, rusty orange or copper-colored. Why?

Patheos-Pagan: You’re Just Making It Up As You Go
MAY 10, 2022 BY JOHN BECKETT
Author and teacher Storm Faerywolf posted something interesting on Twitter last week. In what appears to be a response to a less-than-favorable review, he said:
You say “makes it up as he goes along” like it’s a bad thing.

Inner Journey:
Give yourself free time
“What is it that makes all of us end each day with the sense that we have not lived our time, but have been lived, used by what we do?”
— Jacob Needleman
How can you free up more time for yourself?
All of the great masters counsel that we need time daily for solitude. And if our journey in life is to become more aware of who we are, then surely we need some free time each day to explore our inner landscapes and uncover our passions.
What activities can you cut out of your life to give you more growing room?
“Life is made up of moments, small pieces of glittering mica in a long, stretch of gray cement. It would be wonderful if they came to us unsummoned, but particularly in lives as busy as the ones most of us lead now, that won’t happen. We have to teach ourselves how to make room for them, to love them, and to live, really live.”
— Anna Quindlen

Perception
“To a large degree “reality” is whatever the people who are around at the time agree to.”
-Milton H. Miller
Basically, the consensus of social perception is what shapes our “reality.” What we see in the media is a reflection of what the general population has “agreed” is “the way things are.” But… things are changing! There is a subtle shift towards a more spiritual life. Sociologists have recognized a growing number of people as “Cultural Creatives” who are leaders in developing all kinds of trends. All of us out there reading spiritual books, doing yoga, serving the community, showing kindness and pursuing our own spiritual growth – we are the cultural creatives! By sharing ourselves and our experiences, we are making a difference in the world… and the difference is good!

Daily Tarot: Death
There’s a sense of security in what is old, and with something new coming into your life it’s natural to be a bit afraid. Give this new situation a chance and give yourself time to get comfortable with the new conditions. It could be as simple as getting your hair cut or changing your glasses frames, but it could be much bigger than that.
