1119: Today the Universe is asking us to focus on bringing peace into our lives and those of our loved ones. If the last year has been stressful it’s important to bring peace where you can and that starts with finding peace within yourself. The Universe and it’s helpers are here to help us. They are reminding us that when we are at peace with ourselves we feel better, this can be achieved through self care, setting boundaries or by simply stepping back. Sometimes it’s through alone time and sometimes it’s created by spending quality time with family or close friends, so whatever works for you is the RIGHT way. November’s Full Moon

After Samhain we enter the dark period where the seasons seem to slow down. It was during this time that the ancient people readied themselves for the coming winter. The last harvest was over and they prepared their final provisions and made their homes as winter-proof as possible.

Other names for this months moon are: Beaver Moon ( Colonial. Farmers Almanac says this was the last time to set beaver traps before the ponds froze over, however, the beavers themselves were making ready for the winter just as the people were!) White Moon (China), Trading Moon (Cherokee), Sassafras Moon (Choctaw), Moon When Horns Are Broken Off (Dakota), Dark Moon (Celtic), Snow Moon (Medieval English), Tree Moon (Neo-Pagan), Fog Moon, Frosty Moon, Full Frost Moon, Hunter’s Moon.

November’s moon also honors dark goddesses like Kali, Hecate, and Bast. Use purple candles for your Full Moon observance and burn Full Moon Incense of anise, lavender and rosemary or single blends of patchouli or mugwort. This is also a good time to cleanse and charge your moonstones, just place them on a windowsill during the night of the full moon.


It is a time of mourning as we join the Goddess in remembering her love who has gone on to the Otherworld. But is also a time when we must also remember that all periods of mourning DO come to an end. The Crone is now the womb and will become the Mother in about six weeks time. While the “outer growth” is slowing down, we find it a good time to work on inner growth. While the Earth Mother rests it is a good time for tying up the loose ends in our lives. Let go of what no longer serves us and say farewell to bad relationships and habits. It is also a time of contemplation when we can strengthen our personal connection to the Divine Source.

Today’s Message: A Process of Elimination

1114: Our message today combines our powers of positive thought with self-care. The Universe knows that it’s hard to be positive all the time, and this is normal. We all slip occasionally and it’s okay! The thing about negative thought patterns is that by holding on to them it can cause self-harm through lack of self-care. The Universe is telling us that our self-care is important because if we are unable to help ourselves first, we won’t be able to help those who need us. Did you know that you can turn a negative statement into a positive one by eliminating the words “IF”= That’s never going to happen and “BUT” = I lack faith and self-confidence, from your positive thought vocabulary? try replacing IF with WHEN and BUT with HOWEVER and it will give your statement a positive push. If you are having trouble with being or staying positive take the time to ground-center-clear and remember to breathe. Ask the universe to help you and let yourself be open to the assistance that is waiting for you.

Archangel Chamuel helps us in creating and maintaining strong and loving relationships. While this includes the one we have with ourselves and our own spiritual nature, it helps our relationships with others as well.  Chiastolite (aka Cross Stone or Andalusite) promotes the creative problem solving process. It enables us to release things that are no longer relevant to our current path and dispels any guilt we may have when we leave things behind. It helps us to make the necessary changes and brings harmony to conflicts that arise when we blaze new trails that others were not expecting or able to control.

 Zincite helps to remove energy blocks which gets our life force flowing, which aids our manifestation process. It also restores our energy when it becomes depleted by giving away too much of ourselves to others.

Iolite, also known as “Poor Man’s Amethyst” it is a stone of vision that assists our intuition and aids us in setting things in motion by staying true to yourself and your path while freeing you from the expectations of others. It helps us to live in the moment making it easier to snag the blessings given to us. It is also a soothing stone that calms the emotions during times of change.

Mookite, a form of Jasper that comes in many creamy color combinations, promotes decision making and versatility. These things are important when we are faced with new experiences and find ourselves faced with the need to take action. It encourages us to be flexible during times of change and helps us to embrace new experiences with an open sense of adventure.
