We often get caught up the drama of others. We listen to their story and buy into it hook, line and sinker. This is what drama people count on. The thing to remember is that there is always another side to every story and between the 2 sides lies the truth which is a combination of the 2 sides. Don’t judge until you have heard both sides.
Good Morning Beautiful Souls, grab a cup of your favorite morning brew and start things off with “Today’s Inspirations”. I hope you find something here that will make you feel good or help you on your path today.
Blessings, Cat

Wise Woman Herbal Ezine: Writing as Meditation by Sara Deutsch, M.S.
To write is to listen–to awaken the inner ear to the stream of thought, imagery, feeling and experience continuously flowing within us. In writing meditation we listen, and record whatever enters our mind. Through relaxed awareness and absolute acceptance of all the inner voices–”wounded child”, “critic”, “parent”, “loving guide”–we delve deep into the mystery of our unknown self and learn to trust our inner process to heal and enlighten us.
A five minute time limit provides a gentle pressure that helps bypass the inner critic, responsible for writing blocks. Freeflow writing is a blind date with your infinite unknown self! You never know what will happen! Read more…..

Patheos-Pagan: Drinking Magical Waters
One of the biggest struggles for many of my students is to drink water. It is actually one of the first assignments I give most of my students. Start drinking 8 glasses of water a day! Or at least begin to consciously drink water.

A Note from the Universe
Okay, for just five minutes forget the bucks. Forget your soulmate, too. Forget the new car, the “home run,” and being on Oprah. Forget your fears, your problems, and your pain. And during those five minutes, feel the feelings you most want to feel, for the rest of your life.
It might seem awkward, that’s okay. It might seem silly, too. And I can just about guarantee, at first, it’ll feel utterly futile… until your entire life begins to change.
If I were a beggar, I’d beg you. If I prayed in question marks, this is what I’d ask for. And if I could implore you to do anything, let this be it.
Because nothing else that you might ever do will have as profound an effect on your fortunes, friendships, and happiness; in navigating the illusions, manifesting what you want, and avoiding what you dread; as this little five-minute drill performed just once a day, on as many days as you remember to do it.
And just so you know, if you do this right now or even every day for the rest of your life, I’ll add back those five minutes to each of the days you do it. I’ll just sneak ’em in there, and they’ll feel like ten.

Myth “I find nothing in fables more astonishing than my experience in every hour. One moment of a man’s life is a fact so stupendous as to take the luster out of all fiction.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)
I don’t know who said “truth is stranger than fiction” but I have seen so many examples of things that have happened where I just shake my head and say: “You couldn’t make this stuff up!” I have always been attracted to biographies and true stories for that very reason. Here we are, actually living some of the great myths of our time! Our history books are filled with them. Sometimes the lines are blurred, and we can’t remember what is real and what is not. We take liberty with history to have it “make sense” to us. Can we believe what is reported to us in the news? Or is it just another story? It’s up to each one of us to be informed, and make good decisions

Indecision is not necessarily a bad thing, but taken to extremes it can make you pessimistic and defeatist. Take the time you need to make the choices you need but don’t get bogged down and grind to a halt. About Cat’s Morning Bits: These daily post are reblogged from various email newsletters that I receive each day.
We are seeing a lot about “empowerment” lately. The first step to empowerment lies in our ability to take responsibility for our words, and actions. If you are in the wrong, have done wrong or messed something up grab your courage and take the responsibility. Then work hard to make amends and make things right. Walking the path of empowerment is never easy but it IS worth it.
Being a good listener is important but it’s a skill that not everyone has. The truth is that when a friend or family member comes to us with a problem they really don’t want or need us to fix it for them. What they really want is for someone to listen, not judge or tell them what to do. They usually just need a sounding board to bounce ideas or thoughts off of so that they can fix things for themselves. Today’s challenge: Be a good listener!
Self Honesty Is The Key: Cat’s Angel Message for July 15, 2020

715: Last month was about initiating change in our lives and we began the process through clearing space and making room for new things. Today the Universe is sending us a gentle reminder that what we put in motion is beginning to manifest. Can’t see the results just yet? Hang on…. they’re coming! Persistence and patience are the keys to working with changes of all kinds. This is now a good time to review what you’ve done so far (make a list if you need to) and make any necessary adjustments and tie up any loose ends. Should you have had a setback remember that these are only temporary. Look for the lesson and the truth in the situation then use this information to make the adjustments and move forward. Wise Woman Herbal: Empower Yourself… Seven Directions Movement Meditation by White Feather
It was a warm summer evening on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation in western New York when Grandmother Twylah,( we called her “Twy” back then around 1985) asked me to join her for a talk she would be giving at a place called Lilly Dale. I was happy to be her driver as I would often do at that time.
She invited me to sit up front and before I knew it she was introducing me to the audience and explaining to them I was going to teach them the Seven Directions Movement Meditation.
Tonight, if you have a dark sky, you’ll be able to pick the constellation Draco the Dragon winding around the North Star, Polaris. That circle indicates the changing position of the north celestial pole over a cycle of 26,000 years
________________________ Patheos-Pagan: A Pagan Creed For Non-Creedal Pagans
Modern Pagans have no creeds. The Charge of the Goddess comes close, but it’s still more about what Wiccans do than what Wiccans believe. And most polytheists see it as not particularly relevant to our traditions.
We don’t have creeds because we don’t need them
“The function of prayer is not to influence God, but rather to change the nature of the one who prays.”
— Soren Kierkegaard
Reminding ourselves often of our spiritual natures truly changes the quality of our lives. It helps us relax, slow down, lighten up, and generally find more space and joy in life.
When we get down on ourselves or life, we can pull back and ask, “How might my soul regard this situation? What am I being invited to experience?”
This shift in perspective helps us let go of the resistance that always comes with negativity. As energy once again begins to flow, our outlook brightens.

Ask Yourself: Cat’s Angel Message for May 26, 2019
May’s Theme: This month brings changes into your life. While change sometimes feels scary, it is a necessary thing for our overall growth. Be willing to embrace it and allow it to happen naturally and get ready for better things!
Few are those who see with their own eyesand feel with their own hearts.– Albert Einstein
526: Let’s start today with a question, “What is your heart’s true desire?” The answer to this question lies within each of us and it is up to us to find the answer. Today, the angels are asking us to look within and be honest with ourselves about what we truly want. Take a little time today for some soul searching and ask yourself:
*What do I REALLY want from (life, myself, others)?
*Am I REALLY happy, or am I just going through the motions?
*What can I DO to change my situation for the better?
It’s important to be honest with ourselves because we too often spend our time and energy living someone else’s desire. Living your heart’s desire does not make you selfish, uncaring or a bad person. It does however create inner peace, confidence and a happier and spiritually healthier YOU!
Archangel Michael helps us to find the courage and direction that we need to work through any obstacles that pop up. He teaches us that we have what it takes to create new things for ourselves as he helps us reach new levels of self confidence. He can help you to get back on track and move forward on your personal journey. The Ascended Master El Morya helps us increase our faith and keeps us grounded so that we can embrace both the patience and the clear decision making needed to make things happen as we navigate life’s path. The Hindu goddess Devihelps us to find meaning in our lives and gently guides us in learning to follow our own inner wisdom. She says “Take my hand and let me guide you on your journey of self discovery. You need only look within to find your true meaning. Release your cares to me and I will purify your heart and spirit. “
Our Sacred Stones for today include the following. Sodalite is a stone for the mind and encourages clear and calm thinking. It helps us to be objective and helps us to release old mental conditioning and outdated thought patterns as it boosts our self confidence and esteem. Rhodocrocite promotes a loving and balanced approach to life and encourages a positive attitude and creativity and Metamorphosis Quartzhelps to bring about change and personal transformation.

We often attribute wisdom to a persons age, however that’s not always the case. Don’t assume that just because a person is older that they are wise. The truth is that some of the wisest people I know are the young. Age doesn’t matter. Weigh the words for yourself. If they have merit take them to heart. If they don’t then take what’s usable and discard the rest, or use none of it. Above all don’t be afraid to use your own wisdom because that’s what will get you the farthest.
