Cat’s Morning Bits for April 12, 2018
Good Morning Beautiful Souls, grab a cup of your favorite morning brew and start things off with “Today’s Inspirations”. I hope you find something here that will make you feel good or help you on your path today.
Gladness is born of the April weather,
And the heart is as light as a wind-tossed feather.
Who could be sad on a day like this?
The care that vexed us no longer is.
-Eben Eugene Rexford (1848-1916)
Spiritual Unite: Spiritually Connected Friends Are The People You Need In Your Life
There are many types of friendship, but there are some traits that are present in every type. A friend is a person who is loyal, sympathetic, kind, understanding and trustworthy. There are spiritually connected friends as well, which are one level above all the different kinds of friends you have.
A Bountiful Moment:
Let your hopes not your hurts set your goals
Daily Thought: Your hopes will inspire your dreams and your dreams will motivate your actions. Stay focused on your dreams of the future you. Never allow past hurts or judgments guide your current actions. Your hope of what is to come will keep you moving through the day with a sense of calm and happiness. It will bring you to great places you never could have imagined.
Daily Practice: Keep your attention on what you envision as the next phase of you. If your mind wanders towards other things that are a distraction or a derailment from what you are working toward quickly bring yourself back. Imagine yourself doing what you hope to accomplish. See yourself in that space. Take time today visualizing the completion of your accomplishment.
Have a Great Day and Believe in Yourself!

Patheos-Pagan: 8 Commonly Mispronounced Names Of Gods and Goddesses
In my recent Hellenism studies, I came across some new pronunciations of the Greek gods’ names. It turns out I’ve been mispronouncing their names for decades. But it didn’t stop there — in the past year, I also learned a few other proper pronunciations as well.
Inner Journey: Star Connections
“The interchangeability of matter and spirit means the starlit magic of the outermost life of our universe becomes the soul-light magic of the innermost life of our self. The energy of the stars becomes us. We become the energy of the stars. Stardust and spirit unite and we begin: One with the universe. Whole and holy.”
— Dennis J. Kucinich
Ponder the spectre of yourself as one human being in the over six billion people on Earth. See Earth as one tiny planet in a galaxy of billions of stars, and that galaxy as just one of billions of galaxies in our expanding universe. We are so minute as to be nonexistent. And yet, we have the power to visualize, to imagine the entirety of the cosmos.
In your journal, write about the paradox of being both microscopic and immense.
“I think we would be able to live in this world more peaceably if our spirituality were to come from looking not just into infinity but very closely at the world around us — and appreciating its depth and divinity.”
— Thomas Moore
“I would rather live in a world where my life is surrounded by mystery than live in a world so small that my mind could comprehend it.”
— Harry Emerson Fosdick
A Note from the Universe
Neither worthiness, effort, skill, intelligence, talent, timing, connections, looks, popularity, blood, sweat, or tears will make the difference.
More than anything else, living in wealth and abundance is simply a matter of knowing that you already do.

“An optimist is the human personification of spring.” ~-Susan J. Bissonette, in Reader’s Digest (1979)
A person with a good attitude is the kind of person we all want to be around. He or she knows how to bring warmth and light to any situation. We can be that kind of a person, too. It’s just a matter of looking at things positively, of finding the good that others might not see. Good is always there, and it grows when we put our attention on it.
