Good Morning, grab a cup of your favorite morning brew and start things off with “Today’s Inspirations”. I hope that you will find something here that will make you feel good or help you on your path today.
“I feel like a part of my soul has loved you since the beginning of everything. Maybe we’re from the same star.”
~ Emery Allen

The Chickadee Bunch: All About Chickadees
Watching chickadees flit through the treetops is like witnessing master acrobats at work. These adorable birds duck and dodge through branches as they hunt down small insects. Not only are chickadees super cute, they also have winning personalities. They are curious and unafraid of humans, and old-time birders call this classic chickadee trait “confiding.”
Did You Know?
Engagement rings are often worn on the fourth finger of the left hand because the ancient Greeks maintained that that finger contains the vena amoris, or the vein of love, that runs straight to the heart. The first recorded wedding rings appear in ancient Egypt, with the circle representing eternity as well as powerful sun and moon deities.
Beliefnet: Phrases To Keep You Going When You Lose Motivation
Everyone loses motivation at some point. You get tired, you get discouraged or you just run out of willpower. In those moments, it can be easy to give up. Those who refuse to push through the obstacles, however, will never achieve their goals. Getting back up on your own isnt always easy, but a little encouragement can go a long way toward helping you back up.

What Is Compassion Fatigue?
Imagine the life of someone who spends her day helping those in need. A social worker who deals with the homeless and the forgotten. Doctors and nurses who see constant pain and suffering. First responders who enter dangerous situations, unable to always save everyone. Veterinarians and pet rescue workers who witness the abused and unwanted. The cycle of suffering they see is unending.
A Bountiful Moment:
Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
Christopher Robin to Pooh
There are times when adversity appears to get the better of us. No matter how you try to overcome you keep re-playing the mind tape of disaster, or heartbreak. It feels like the awfulness will never end. You think you dont have the ability or strength to get through this tough situation. When this occurs remember that you are braver, stronger and smarter than you think and that you have the power to get through anything with success.
As you go through your day today remind yourself how great you are. Dont feel ashamed or silly to say and think to yourself that you are pretty awesome. Think about situations that you have overcome, or achieved. Look around and take note of all the wonderful things that are a reflection of you. Breathe in the fact and believe that you are wonderful! Keep reminding yourself that you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
Have a Great Day and Believe in Yourself!

EarthSky News: Hare and Dove at Orion’s Feet
Tonight look for one of the easiest-to-find constellations in the sky at this time of year. It’s recognizable for a short, straight row of three medium-bright stars. These stars represent the Belt of Orion the Hunter.

16 Affirmations That Will Inspire Gratitude & Love, Just In Time For Valentine’s
There are many ways that humans try to bring more love into their lives, and Valentines Day is an excuse to stop and celebrate lovein its many forms. There is a metaphysical theory that one way to attract something is by being grateful for what you already do have. For example, being grateful for the abundance you already have will align your energy with abundance and draw more of it to you. Same goes for love.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
“It is never about how good your voice is; it is only about feeling the urge to sing, and then having the courage to do it with the voice you are given.”
— Katie in ‘True to Form’ by Elizabeth Berg
How often have you allowed fear and your inner critic to stop you from doing something you were inspired to do?
Helen Keller said, “Life is either a grand adventure or nothing.” When we allow fear and criticism to stop us in our tracks, we give up that grand adventure. What a waste!
“Be an all-out, not a hold-out.”
— Norman Vincent Peale
A Note from the Universe
Just wanted to remind you that sometimes success is better measured in smiles received, giggles heard, and hands held, than in dollars earned, deadlines met, and kilos shed.
And I must say, you’ve done well for yourself.
Today’s Recipe: Flourless PB Chocolate Protein Muffins
Sometimes the best type of gluten free food is one that doesn’t even contain gluten free flour. Sure, it’s nice to not have to pay for pricey gluten free flour, but sometimes I like to remove flours all together. When I make these muffins, people have no idea there’s not a drop of flour in them. You’ll be surprised when you pull one apart and take a bite… so soft and fluffy. On days I have heavier workouts, these muffins are great to keep me satisfied but not bogged down.

Home, home on the range,
Where the deer and the antelope play;
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And the skies are not cloudy all day.”
-Brewster Higley (19th cent, 1873?)
This is where we live; this is our home. Wherever we are, wherever we go, this planet is ours to enjoy and take care of. All of nature calls for us to notice. Whether we sleep under a roof or under a canopy of stars, we live here together – with the animals and trees and all of creation.
