A day of torpor in the sullen heat
Of Summer’s passion: In the sluggish stream
The panting cattle lave their lazy feet,
With drowsy eyes, and dream.
-James Whitcomb Riley (1849-1916)
Spiritual Unite: Signs That Show You Have A Cosmic Connection With Someone
A cosmic connection that defies the laws of the physical word is irrefutable. We feel it in our bones. It has the ability to cripple our insides or to make us whole. The universe conspires in bringing us closer to our destiny because of this cosmic connection. It is beyond the comprehension of those who have never experienced it.
MBG: How To Actively Take A Compliment & REALLY Absorb It
Have you ever been given a compliment only to immediately deflect it with a self-deprecating rebuttal? Or brush it off so quickly that you find it difficult to say a simple “thank you” and allow yourself to absorb what was said?
Spiritual Unite: Orion Starseed | Traits | Everything You Need To Know
Orion starseeds came to earth during the 60’s to the 90’s. They were the ones paving the way for many young people who had no direction in life.
They were the ones supporting the out of control teens or the wayward friend.

EarthSky News: Orion and Sirius the Dog Star
Tonight – August 29, 2018 – look for a first hint of the changing season in the predawn sky: Orion the Hunter and Sirius the Dog Star. The very noticeable constellation Orion the Hunter rises before dawn at this time of year, recognizable for the short straight line of three stars that make up Orion’s Belt. And the sky’s brightest star Sirius – sometimes called the Dog Star because it’s part of the constellation Canis Major the Greater Dog – follows Orion into the sky as the predawn darkness gives way to dawn.
Patheos-Pagan: A Guide to Forgiveness (By a Witch Who Sucks at Forgiving):
Lately on the Facebook feeds, a video about forgiveness which, although it’s from a Christian pastor, has been making waves in Pagan circles. The bolt-cutter image is wonderful. I’ve been working with this image in my meditations. Sometimes it works better than others. I have a long way to go.
“Our ultimate freedom is the right and power to decide how anybody or anything outside ourselves will affect us.”
— Stephen Covey
A Greek myth can help us understand the freedom that comes with power of choice.
In the Underworld, Sisyphus was condemned to roll a large stone up a hill from which it always rolled down again. Realistically, he was trapped in an endless cycle of rolling the stone. When he perceived himself to be imprisoned by the curse, he was a victim.
At one point, however, he turned the tables — he changed his mind and decided to CHOOSE to roll the stone up the hill. In doing so, he empowered himself and defused the curse.
“Freedom is what you do with what’s been done to you.”
— Jean-Paul Sartre
“One cannot make a slave of a free person, for a free person is free even in a prison.”
A Note from the Universe
The trick is learning to maintain an unwavering focus upon your desired end result, your completed dream, the “finish line,” without insisting upon or contemplating its means of attainment, no matter how logical, obvious, or tempting it may seem.

“All our interior world is reality – and that perhaps more so than our apparent world.” -Marc Chagall
Love, joy, bliss, peace – we experience all this in our interior world, yet we cannot draw a picture or take a photo of exactly what it looks like. Our interior world is so vast, so filled with amazing gifts. Yet where do we place our attention? We’re busy trying to make our apparent world, our exterior world, look good. When we look within, we find the abundance that we so desperately seek. It is there all the time!
