Good Morning Beautiful Souls, grab a cup of your favorite morning brew and start things off with “Today’s Inspirations”. I hope you find something here that will make you feel good or help you on your path today.
We like March, his shoes are purple,
He is new and high;
Makes he mud for dog and peddler,
Makes he forest dry.
-Emily Dickinson (1830-86)
Spirit Library: Freedom
Blessed Being, your Freedom is a resonance that is attained and contained within. The paradox of containment and Freedom is the connection of the opposites that occurs within you. In the physical realm of limitation, you are provided a structure of experience and discovery that uncovers a hidden truth that resides within you
The White Goddess: Ostara – Spring Equinox
Ostara: Spring Equinox (Ostara) – March 21st/22nd
Incense: Jasmine, Rose
Decorations: Yellow Disk or Wheel, Coloured Egg’s, Hare Decorations, Spring Flowers
This marks the Spring Equinox. This is the Pagan “Easter” – or rather, this is the day that Christians borrowed to be their Easter. It is traditionally the day of equilibrium, neither harsh winter or the merciless summer, and is a time of childish wonder. Painted eggs, baskets of flowers and the like are generally used to decorate the house.
Recipes for a Pagan Soul: Ostara
Food and drink of Ostara: Leafy green vegetables, dairy foods, nuts such as Pumpkin, sunflower, fresh fruits, eggs, honey and honey cakes, seeds, waffles, and milk

As their habitats give way to sprawling human developments, more and more animals are being forced into cities and suburbs.
EarthSky News: Moon, Castor, Pollux, Procyon March 15 and 16
As darkness falls on March 15 and 16, 2019, let the waxing gibbous moon show you three bright stars. Look for the constellation Gemini’s two brightest stars, Castor and Pollux, to the north of the moon. They’re sometimes called the Gemini twins, even though they don’t look alike. Then look to the south of the moon for the bright star Procyon, also known as the Little Dog Star because it’s the brightest light in the constellation Canis Minor the Lesser Dog
Patheos-Pagan: The Seeds of Ostara – Divination and Manifestation
The Vernal Equinox, Ostara in the Pagan calendar, is just around the corner and this year is packing quite an astrological wallop. On Wednesday, March 20th, day and night will be equal lengths. As the sun shifts into the fiery sign of Aries, a full moon will also shine and enter the astrological sign of Libra shortly before the moon reaches peak brightness
“Paradoxically, a group of humans becomes healing and converting only after its members have learned to stop trying to heal and convert. Community is a safe place precisely because no one is attempting to heal or convert you, to fix you, to change you. Instead, the members accept you as you are. You are free to be you. And being so free, you are free to discard defenses, masks, disguises; free to seek your own psychological and spiritual health; free to become your whole and holy self.”
— Scott Peck
A Note from the Universe
OK go ahead and think of the one “thing” that still bugs you. You know, that one issue, challenge, or person who… arghhh, if only the load of it would lighten.
Come on, now. This won’t work if you don’t think of something.
Then repeat after me: “This is better than winning the lottery! What a gift! Because as I use it to understand why it affects me as it does, even though I remain literally cloaked in miracles, powerful beyond measure, and utterly free in this very moment to think and feel and manifest without limit, such new insights, perhaps more than any others I’ve gleaned from my entire life, will make me happier, healthier, and wealthier than I even knew I could hope to be. All because of this gift! Hallelujah! Lucky me! I’ll miss it when it’s gone… sort of.”
You really will –

“Energy is the power that drives every human being. It is not lost by exertion but maintained by it, for it is a faculty of the psyche.”
-Germaine Greer (1973)
Sometimes when we’re feeling down or tired, the best thing to pick us up is a brisk walk! A little exertion of energy gets the juices flowing – then we can think more clearly and make better decisions for ourselves. We need to strive for a balance between quiet and activity. Too much of either one gets us out of kilter.
Beliefnet: Colors That Will Cheer You Up
Alternative therapy can offer a breakthrough for people struggling depression. There is art therapy, animal therapy and storytelling therapy. There is an arm of therapy that is used to help people with depression that is often not talked about or perhaps never heard of–it’s called color psychology. Color psychology is the study of different hues and its impact on human behavior. Over the years, people are paying closer attention to how color can influence their mood.
