Today’s Message: You Are Worthy

819: The Universe does its job by providing us with everything that we need to make our lives happy and successful. However, it’s our job to pay attention and take advantage of what is offered to us. Remember that you have access to higher assistance as well as your own inner guidance system (use your gifts!). Extra momentum is gained when we do our best to keep things in a positive perspective and embrace the attitude of gratitude. By doing this we can manifest and create a better life for ourselves and our loved ones. Today the angels are reminding us to stay focused on our goals. This focus is essential because it broadens our outlook and helps to propel us forward into the life we want. Remember, we are all worthy of good things and by working together with the Universe we create a win-win situation!

Today’s Spirit Helpers include:

Archangel Raziel can assist us in both embracing our unique divine magic and in the overall manifestation process. He tells us that growth and freedom can be found when we let go of what we have outgrown as well as our limiting self-beliefs and fears all of which hold us back from achieving and creating the life we want.

The Ascended Master Vywamus helps all Lightworkers. He teaches us that change can be an opportunity to heal. He encourages us to continuously and consciously seek inspiration through the discovery and rediscovery of our own natural abilities and talents. If something is holding you back let it go and continue forward

The Hindu Goddess Kali is a dark mother and goddess of death. Each time we let go of something that no longer serves us we are in truth embracing a “little death” and fear often accompanies the letting go process. One of Kali’s greatest lessons is through our worst fears lies the freedom we gain in conquering them. She says: “Dreams must be created with focus and intent. I will help you to embrace the courage and motivation that you need to see things through to a successful conclusion.”

Today’s Sacred Stones include:

Agate (Mossy). This gentle stone promotes new beginnings and can help release the blocks that are keeping us from moving forward. It attracts new forms of abundance and teaches us how to channel our energy in new, creative ways. Often referred to as the gardener’s stone Moss Agate helps us connect to nature, the earth, and our own inner garden as well. Carry it with you or wear it during times of new growth.

Calcite (Orange) helps us to embrace our own power and the abilities we possess while eliminating self-defeating thinking. It also helps to balance our emotions and calm our fears so that we can work through problems and temporary setbacks so we may reach our full potential. It helps to dissolve problems and insecurities that can arise when we are faced with new opportunities.

Mookite (Jasper) helps us to be flexible during times of change and encourages us to embrace new experiences with an open sense of adventure.

Blessings for a magickal day! Cat

Daily Good: When Crafts Become Activism

“Sarah Corbett never dreamed a cross-stitched teddy bear could change her life and how she approached her career. But looking back, she realizes that thats when it all started.
Corbett, a professional campaigner for causes and charities, was preparing to board a train from London to Glasgow to give yet another workshop on training people as activists. But she was exhausted, stressed, and burning out. With a five-hour journey ahead of her, she couldnt work because it made her travel sick. Feeling a hankering to do something creative, she picked up the tiny cross-stitch kit. As she took her seat and began to work, she immediately noticed something….”

Elephant Journal: How we can use our Emotional Guiding System to set Goals & Intentions.

Two years ago, on New Year’s Day, I was overwhelmed at the thought of setting goals.
It’s not that I didn’t know how, I simply wasn’t in the right head space. Letting the pendulum swing the other way, I toyed with the idea of not having goals for the upcoming year. That didn’t work either—it made me anxious. Clearly, I had to find a middle-of-the-road option.

That’s basically how the idea of choosing a theme rather than setting a goal came to me.

MNN: It takes this dragonfly 3 generations to complete its annual, 1,000-mile migration

When it comes to the world’s greatest animal migrations, the movement of millions of wildebeest over vast swaths of savannah probably comes to mind. Or perhaps it’s the thousands of miles flown every year by Arctic terns as they move from pole to pole. Or maybe an image of a breeching humpback surfaces in your imagination, as the whales swim from feeding grounds to calving grounds along coastlines.

EarthSky News: Achernar marks the end of the River

The chart above is almost just like yesterday’s chart. But we’ve changed our observing location. Normally, our charts are set for the geographical center of the continental U.S. – say, the latitude of Wichita, Kansas (about 37o north latitude). The chart above is set to the extreme southern U.S. or similar latitudes around the world

Patheos-Pagan: The Toxicity of Crystals and Ways to Practice Real Stone Spirit Magick

The use of crystals for healing, abundance and other energetic practices continues to grow in mainstream popularity. There’s so much toxicity in this shallow approach to working with stones, from the deplorable ways they are mined to the dangers of blind faith in their healing power. Stone spirit magick works, but we need to know how to harness the power of these treasures, so I’ve added a few tips because ranting without offering solutions is also toxic.

Inner Journey:

GO FOR PASSION!

“There is no end. There is no beginning. There is only the infinite passion of life.”
— Frederico Fellini
How do you ration your passion?

In what situations have you experienced your life to the fullest? Do you live your passion as fully as you can? How do you limit your experience of passion?

Passion emerges when your essence expresses itself. How do you stop yourself from fully expressing who you are?

“Without passion man is a mere latent force and possibility, like the flint which awaits the shock of the iron before it can give forth its spark.”
— Henri Frederic Amiel

“We could hardly wait to get up in the morning.”
— Wilbur Wright

Wisdom

“It is easier to be wise for others than for oneself.”

-La Rochefoucauld (1613-1680)
This is so true! Don’t we all give better advice than we take from ourselves? Because we can look at someone else’s problems objectively, and we are so caught up in our own emotions that it’s hard to step back and look at our own problems with the same wisdom. But it is possible! As we learn and grow and spend more time in silence, we make better decisions, we become more wise.
