Spiritual Unite: Cypress Tree Symbolism – Ambition And Trinities

Trees have a rich and extensive symbolism all over the world, and the cypress tree has its fair share of the spotlight.
Its symbolism is mostly found in the Islamic world and across Europe, though in this day and age all symbolism has become global

MBG: So Turns Out Bees Can Do Math — As If They Needed Another Reason To Be Amazing

We’ve got a lot to thank bees for—our entire environment basically depends on their survival, after all. And as if they weren’t impressive enough already, scientists just found out they can actually do basic arithmetic.

Spirit Library:  Conscious Connection with All That You Are

Hello Divine Ones,

We greet you in love. We are here, today to speak with you about self-care. Self-care in an expanded way – a way that is about you living here in conscious connection with all that you are.

Tetraktys: 5 Zen Ideas and How to Apply Them
I’ve already written a few times about Zen Buddhism but I like to get back to it from time to time. The reason for it is that Zen is more of a philosophy or a way of life than a traditional religion. People often say that about Buddhism in general, but Zen is by far the least dogmatic sect of the religion.

Elephant Journal: Venus & the 12 Love-Styles of the Zodiac.

Ah Venus! We all know that somehow Venus connotes love. She’s the Roman goddess associated with sexual desire, beauty, wine, roses, and all things abundantly lovely.

EarthSky News: Moon, Mars, Uranus from February 9 to 11

On February 9, 10 and 11, 2019, use the moon to find the red planet Mars, which still shines as brightly as a 1st-magnitude star, or one of the brightest stars in our sky. Then let Mars help you find a much fainter planet, distant Uranus. You’ll have no trouble seeing Mars, even in the glare of the waxing crescent moon. But chances are you won’t spot the planet Uranus with the eye alone; use your binoculars for this one, or a small telescope

Patheos-Pagan: Winter’s Lessons of Silence: Putting the “Be” Back in Imbolc

During the Imbolc-tide leading up to High Winter, I received a message from the dark earth below me. As I observed the yellow grass in my back-yard temple, and how it ceases to grow in winter… and the tulip poplar tree stands so still, stripped bare of his leaves, they reminded me about the importance of dormancy.

Inner Journey:

“Knowledge of any kind … brings about a change in awareness from where it is possible to create new realities.”
— Deepak Chopra

As we evolve, we handle knowledge in different ways. We tend to move through these stages:
• We are unaware.
• We become aware of facts, data, information.
• We comprehend meaning from the facts.
• We can personally apply the information in our lives.
• We have wisdom – enlightened, we can lovingly apply our knowledge to world affairs.
• We live in truth.

How have you personally experienced a shifting of applying knowledge from one level to the next?

“More important than finding the teacher is finding and following the truth of the teaching….”
— Sogyal Rinpoche

“There can be no knowledge without emotion. We may be aware of a truth, yet until we have felt its force, it is not ours. To the cognition of the brain must be added the experience of the soul.”
— Arnold Bennett

A Note from the Universe

Usually miracles happen a good bit before you see their effects.

Like starlight reaching the earth, except faster.

Which means some really huge ones may have already happened.

Daily Wisdom
February 8, 2019

“Grace comes into the soul, as the morning sun into the world; first a dawning; then a light; and at last the sun in his full and excellent brightness.”

-Thomas Adams (1640)
First we glimpse it, then we recognize it, then we know it as ours. Then we embrace it, and bask in its beautiful glow. And then it starts to radiate from us, and we see it as a part of who we are. This is the process of our spiritual growth. With grace comes love and patience and acceptance and reverence. It’s awesome!

-Lissa Coffey
