Thought For The Day: June 11, 2018 “Offering Encouragement”

Happy Monday,

We’ll start our week with “words of encouragement”. Everyone (including you and me) needs to be encouraged. I’m not talking about ego stroking (FAKE), the kind I mean comes from the heart. A simple word or gesture can mean more than effusive praise.  Remember….. we are here to lift each other up not knock each other down.

Thought For The Day: April 19, 2018 “An Uplifting Experience”

Happy Thursday,

We all need to be lifted up once in a while. Paying someone a compliment is not quite a thing of the past……….. not quite. We might notice that someone looks really nice today, or is doing a great job. Maybe someone is working hard to be a better person, lose weight or taking up the slack. But how often do we really say something to acknowledge these things? Usually we just keep those things to ourselves. How about we start a new trend of handing our heartfelt compliments? Try giving one out today it’s a win-win situation!

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday! I recently had someone ask me why I write these daily thoughts. The truth is that I believe that everyone should be able to start the day off on a positive note. By writing these if I can make one person feel good about themselves or others or have even provided a little perspective then I consider it a success! We can all help others by lifting them up. There is just too much ugly going on in the world right now for us to do otherwise. If we each do a little we will accomplish a lot!
