Spiritual Unite: Peacock Spiritual Meaning In Ancient Mythology
Peacock Spiritual Meaning: The vibrant and colourful feathers of a peacock have long been regarded as a symbol of beauty.
But there’s a deeper meaning in its aesthetic beauty for us humans. If we muster up the courage to show our true colours, we can reach new heights of integrity and beauty.

MBG: 7 Life-Changing Books To Read This Summer
We’ve been indoors and dragging all winter, and, if you’re like me, you’re looking for some serious inspiration for these spring and summer months. As an author of a happiness book myself, I tend to be picky about what I read—it needs to be inspiring, smart (research-backed), and entertaining. That combo is rare but always a winner! The good news is that these seven fabulous new books fit the picture. They will in turn move, elate, and motivate you toward a happier, more successful, and joyful summer! Happy reading!

Elephant Journal: May 15th: Intense Make or Break Time with the Taurus New Moon
The moon is exalted when in Taurus, meaning the moon and Taurus adore one another, and the sensual affinity they share means they resonate with each other deeply and harmoniously. This causes lunar energy to feel intense during this period, making us feel highly intuitive and ultra sensitive.

MNN: 12 out-of-this-world observatories
There’s nothing like sprawling out on a blanket on a darkened field, somewhere far from the city, to view a celestial light show. Staring off into a star-filled sky is one of life’s simplest yet most profound pleasures, a humbling experience that reminds us of the staggering immensity of the universe we call home.
Sometimes, however, serious stargazers need to seek out the big guns. And for that, there are observatories, telescope-housing institutions dedicated to the exploration of celestial objects: the moon, the sun, the stars and planets far away

Patheos-Pagan: Review: Italian Folk Magic
Italian Folk Magic: Rue’s Kitchen Witchery is a fantastic book and one I’ve really been wanting someone to write. Mary-Grace Fahrun provides a fantastic look into one of the most practical folk magic traditions I have ever seen. All the practices provided are so simple and just seem like mindful practices and prayers incorporated into everyday life to enchant it.

Inner Journey:
PERSONAL POWER
“The deep root of failure in our lives is to think, ‘Oh how useless and powerless I am.’ It is essential to think strongly and forcefully, ‘I can do it,’ without boasting or fretting.”
— Dalai Lama
Angeles Arrien says that whether we are male or female, we need to develop three kinds of power. People who hold these three powers cannot be ignored.
1.Power of presence – Being really present in each moment
2.Power of communication – Speaking my truth
3.Power of position – Being willing to take a stand
“A man’s true state of power and riches is to be in himself.”
— Henry Ward Beecher
“We are no longer puppets being manipulated by outside powerful forces; we become the powerful force ourselves.”
— Leo Buscaglia

A Note from the Universe
Those who achieve great things, defeat long odds, and become legends, didn’t have anything you don’t have.
They just kept showing up, expecting a miracle, long after everyone else got practical.
Here comes one now…!

Today’s Recipe: Vegan Almond Spread
This is a creamy and delicious substitute for cheese spread, made of almonds that have been soaked for 24 hours. This spread really boosts flavours in sandwiches where mayonnaise and cheese would typically be used, and is also a great topping for crackers, and a dip for veggies. Add any type of chopped herbs, if you desire.

Dreams
“Within each one of us there is another whom we do not know. He speaks to us in dreams and tells us how differently he sees us from how we see ourselves. When, therefore, we find ourselves in a difficult situation, to which there is no solution, he can sometimes kindle a light that radically alters our attitude, the very attitude that led us into the difficult situation.” -Carl G. Jung (1875-1961)
This “another whom we do not know” is indeed our Higher Self, or God, or Spirit, or whatever we each may want to call that Divine energy within. Yet as we work on our spiritual growth, the point is to get to know this “another” and by doing so to understand that there really is no separation between us! We come to realize who we really are.
