Now by the brook the maple leans
With all his glory spread,
And all the sumachs on the hills
Have turned their green to red.

Spiritual Unite: Kundalini Awakening Symptoms And Dangers
The process of kundalini awakening has a host of symptoms and dangers associated with it. Rightly or wrongly, some warn against embarking on kundalini awakening while you are still inexperienced in yoga and meditation. We believe they are a little over the top, but they raise a good point. As long as the process is undertaken with proper care, and
MBG: Be The Change: This Checklist Has 10 Actionable Items That Actually Make A Difference
By now, we’ve all gotten the message that our environment needs as much love as humanly possible, and we’re doing our part to help make that happen. Still, while we have the best intentions to be all eco-friendly all the time, just thinking about how much work still needs to be done can get overwhelming—and make even the greenest person feel a little blue.
Daily Good: Change the Worldview, Change the World
At the heart of every culture is a story of how the world came to be and what that means for us. Look closer and you’ll find many more narratives that comprise our collective consciousness. In the case of the Western world, problems like white supremacy, misogyny, and ecological hostility are all disconnected storylines that have been kept alive year after year. In this compelling essay, author Drew Dellinger calls upon us to reexamine the stories in Western society–their sources and consequences–and consider a wider worldview.
Elephant Journal: The Best Way to Get Out of a Funk.
Every once in a while, I have a day where I am in a total funk.
Nothing particularly bad happens, but nothing seems to be going the way I want it to either. I feel tired, antsy, irritable, and generally unsatisfied with pretty much everything. In theory I want to do all the things; in reality I want to do none of the things

EarthSky News: Tonight Moon is near Mars
Mars was bright and close six weeks ago, but now Earth is rushing ahead in our smaller, faster orbit around the sun. From our perspective, the red planet is beginning to dim. See it near Wednesday night’s moon.
Patheos-Pagan: A Simple Elemental Ritual Welcoming Autumn
The season of autumn whispers to me in the mornings, reminding me that the Wheel of the Year is turning. My reply was a simple elemental ritual welcoming the fall, with the added energy of the pentagram representing the wholeness in all things. I love to get back to the simplicity of evoking the elements, especially at the seasonal transitions. They form all that lives and for that, I honor them always.
Inner Journey: ARE YOU HAPPY?
“It is not easy to find happiness in ourselves, and it is not possible to find it elsewhere.”
— Agnes Repplier
Are you happy?
Don’t answer too quickly. Sit with this question for a long time and you’ll be introduced to brand new dimensions of who you are and of what matters in your life.
“Happiness comes only when we push our brains and hearts to the farthest reaches of which we are capable.”
— Leo C. Rosten
A Note from the Universe
Do you know what most people wish for, when it comes to improving their own life?
More stuff. Especially abundance.
Because they think having more stuff will contribute to their overall happiness.
But do you know what most people wish for when it comes to the lives of the ones they most love and cherish?
Happiness, peace, creative work, fulfilling relationships.
Because they understand that once these things are in order, stuff, especially abundance, will automatically take care of itself.
One of these two things doesn’t belong with the other….

Beliefnet: Lies We Tell Ourselves and How to Stop Living Them
Most of us don’t identify ourselves as being liars. We might say a white lie every now and then, but we would never be the person spewing lies each day, right? Wrong. We might not even realize it, but chances are you are lying to yourself every day. We say them because we think they make us feel better, but in reality they are stealing our ability to live our best life. They blind us from finding the truth, taking away our happiness rather than adding to it.
