Good Morning, TGIF and Happy Imbolc!
Grab a cup of your favorite morning brew and start the day with “Today’s Inspirations”!
On Candlemas day,
The good goose begins to lay.
“Candlemas’ is the Christianized name for the holiday, of course. The older Pagan names were Imbolc and Oimelc. ‘Imbolc’ means, literally, ‘in the belly’ (of the Mother). For in the womb of Mother Earth, hidden from our mundane sight but sensed by a keener vision, there are stirrings. The seed that was planted in her womb at the solstice is quickening and the new year grows. ‘Oimelc’ means ‘milk of ewes’, for it is also lambing season. The holiday is also called ‘Brigit’s Day’, in honor of the great Irish Goddess Brigit. At her shrine, the ancient Irish capitol of Kildare, a group of 19 priestesses (no men allowed) kept a perpetual flame burning in her honor. She was considered a goddess of fire, patroness of smithcraft, poetry and healing (especially the healing touch of

3 Signs You’re Anxious & Don’t Know It, According To A Psychologist
If you’d told my younger self I was anxious, I would have laughed and told you you were overreacting. To me, anxiety was associated with the image of a person chewing their nails down, hiding under the duvet, unable to face the world…
A Bountiful Moment: What can I do today to add real value to me?
It is important to be conscious of your efforts to add value to your daily life. Every step you take adds to the big picture of what you will look back upon. Building anything is done one step at a time. There is no difference when it comes to building a life filled with dreams accomplished.
Today is a good day to question how you add value to your life. What choices are you going to make today that will bring a reward in the future of you. Will you start an exercise program, will you begin to learn something new, will you practice being focused and organized. Add value to you today by taking the first step into a new life adventure.
Have a Great Day and Believe in Yourself!

Beliefnet: Who Was The Original Buddha?
In the 6th century a leader was born. Someone who would forever shape the idea of tranquility and enlightenment. Siddhartha Gautama is the original Buddha. The name Siddhartha means he who achieves his aim. After experimenting with various teachings for years, Gautama found positives and negatives in everything that he reviewed. Historians say that Gautama spent a night deep in meditation. During that time, he found
GO FOR DEPTH
“Mastery does not come from dabbling. We have to be prepared to pay the price. We need to have the sustained enthusiasm that motivates us to give our best.”
— Eknath Easwaran
Our world now offers us a smorgasbord of opportunities. In the personal growth field alone, there is a myriad of books and products, all promising relief from what ails us. It’s easy to flip quickly from one program to another when something new captures our imagination.
If I long for change in my life, however, I need to do more than skim the surface. I need to make time and take time to both learn new approaches and then — most importantly — to apply what I’ve learned. If I jump around to new techniques too rapidly, I won’t benefit from any of them.
“Genius is only the power of making continuous efforts.”
A Note from the Universe
Whatever it is you want think about it.
Think and think and think.
And as surely as day follows night, that which you have thought about will be drawn into your life – be it answers, friendships, health, abundance, or love.
It’s the law.

Excellence: What benefits come from excellence
“If a man write a better book, preach a better sermon, or make a better mousetrap than his neighbor, though he build his house in the woods, the world will make a beaten path to his door.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)
Excellence is noticed in this society. Excellence is honored. It doesn’t matter if it comes with an award, or a paycheck, or the appreciation of others, or even just our own peace of mind knowing that we have done something good – excellence is its own reward.
Beliefnet: How Mastering The Art Of Letting Go Will Change Your Life
The past is catching up and you can no longer outpace the pain since it’s been buried for so long. We all dwell on the past and can’t seem to let go of things and this causes impatience, hostility and more tension. Whether it was a tragic death, broken promises, situations at work or a heartache, letting go can be even scarier.
