Again the blackbirds sing; the streams
Wake, laughing, from their winter dreams,
And tremble in the April showers
The tassels of the maple flowers.

mindbodygreen: Creative Ways To Bring The Outside Into Your Home (Besides Houseplants
As a designer who is inspired by nature’s colors, textures, and patterns, I have trained my eye to find the beauty of the outside world and bring it in.
Nature can inspire me literally a plant I see and draw can reemerge in a print or abstractlythe dense colors of overlapping foliage can appear as a color scheme; the curling, folding edges of a leaf as a ruffled hem. The natural world also inspires the spirit of my work. Being in the presence of nature grounds me and gives me the calm temperament that allows me to begin the creative process.
Beliefnet: How Your 7 Energy Centers Effect Your Life
Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel. Chakras are energy centers in our body that look like spinning wheels. When our chakras are properly balanced, we feel healthy and happy. Picture seven spinning wheels in the colors of the rainbow starting at your spine and moving along your back to the top of your head. In order to maintain optimum health and healing, we need to keep these seven energy centers balanced and aligned with each other. When theyre too small, we feel closed off, alone and disconnected. When theyre too big, life feels overwhelming, dramatic and out of control. In this article, youll learn where your chakra are and how to keep them balanced.
Spiritual Unite: My View on Current Spiritual Energies
Recently, I met with my mentor who is a Reiki Master, and we talked about current spiritual energies. He predicted that light and darkness would continue to flourish and a widening gap will develop between the two. Now, what did he mean by that? Well, let’s say that the year 2018 will bring great things for optimistic people. It will

Daily Thought:Your opinion is the only one that matters when it comes to how you are viewed or cared for. You are the only one who gets to say whether what you do is good, or needs improvement. You are the only one who gets to judge whether what you do is enough to make your life matter. You alone get to decide if you are loved and supported. And always remember that can only be done by loving yourself.
Daily Practice: Act as if you are the most important person in the world today, because you are. Make sure the things you are saying to yourself throughout the day are supportive and kind. Put yourself first in making decisions and choices. When you do things today act as if you are caring for the person you love most.
Have a Great Day and Believe in Yourself!

Patheos-Pagan: Witchcraft & Prayer
“Wait. You actually experience the gods?” This is a question I’ve had posed to me more than once, and sadly from many pagans and witches who are unsure if they’re working with spirits or their imagination. Of course I do. If I didn’t, how would I know they were real
Inner Journey: Giving Choice
“Freedom of choice is more to be treasured than any possession earth can give.”
— David O. McKay
I want to choose the details of my life. Fortunately, I’ve come to appreciate how important it is to give others the freedom to choose their own paths.
None of us wants our choice robbed from us. I can’t know what’s best for anyone but me. So why give unsolicited advice to others and expect them to follow it?
“The truest characters of ignorance are vanity, and pride and arrogance.”
— Samuel Butler
“What man wants is simply independent choice, whatever that may cost and wherever it may lead.”
— Fyodor Dostoyevsky

“I’ve got to admit it’s getting better
It’s a little better all the time.”
John Lennon (1940-1980) and Paul McCartney (1942-) “Getting Better” 1967
When we learn to look at the world optimistically, we see that there is some evolution going on, some growth spiritually that just naturally takes place. We might lose sight of it at times, but because we are growing spiritually, things ARE getting better! And they’re getting better all the time.
