Now by great marshes wrapt in mist,
Or past some river’s mouth,
Throughout the long, still autumn day
Wild birds are flying south.

Spiritual Unite: Soulmate Signs From The Universe

A soulmate is the most commonly used term for true love. Many people crave for this relationship. A soulmate is a person with whom you feel comfortable and happy. There’s a sense of deep love as well. Any individual could have one or more than one soulmate in their life. Soulmates come into your life to perform a specific task.

MBG: What This Month’s Rare Retrograde Means For Your Love Life

You may have heard the hype about Venus retrograde, a six-week backspin that happens every 18 months and will be in full force from October 5 to November 16, 2018. When the Heavenly Headmistress of Harmony takes this celestial sabbatical, relationships can go awry. Our normal levels of kindness and compassion deplete, and the past can creep back in—from ex-flames to old inflammatory issues.

Daily Good: How Silence Leads Us To Awe

When life leaves us “dumb-struck”, awed into silence, we are jolted into living and understanding with our right brains. These moments are universally understood as deep spiritual experiences. In this excerpt from the book “The Lotus and the Rose”, Matthew Fox and Lama Tsomo explore this essential spiritual principle using the lenses of Christianity and Buddhism.

Elephant Journal: October 24th Full Moon—Be a Hunter, not a Space Cadet.

The full Hunter’s Moon comes October 24th.
It rises just after sunset, and sets around sunrise, making this the only night in the month when the moon is in the sky all night long. The Native Americans call it the Hunter’s Moon, because the game is fat from a summer of foraging, and now is the time to go hunting and prepare stores for the long winter ahead.

MNN: Ancient graffiti reveals the real date of Pompeii’s destruction

Archaeologists excavating a previously untouched portion of the ancient Roman city of Pompeii have come across a remarkable discovery: dated graffiti that appears to have been made just prior to the city’s destruction.

EarthSky News: See Earth’s shadow and Belt of Venus

In both the evening and morning sky, try watching for Earth’s shadow. Earth’s shadow is a deep blue-grey, darker than the twilight sky. The pink band above the shadow – in the east after sunset, or west before dawn – is called the Belt of Venus.

Patheos-Pagan: Thank You For Letting Me Be Myself, Again

I spent last weekend at Autumn Fires at Wisteria, closing out the festival season; a last chance for outdoor Fire Circles until the spring.
Sometime Saturday night, as we danced around the fire in the cold, the drumming fell silent for a moment. I felt the Muse upon me, and I started a traditional chant that fit the moment.

Inner Journey:

“Most people are so busy knocking themselves out trying to do everything they think they should do, they never get around to do what they want to do.”
— Kathleen Winsor

When we clearly set an intention, our conscious and subconscious minds mobilize to help us meet that intention. At the start of each day, thoroughly review what commitments you have made to others for the day, and decide what commitment(s) you will make for yourself.

What can you do today that will move you one step closer to your personal goals? Own your power to choose to meet your own needs. After all, we are much better able to help others when our own needs are met. And at the end of the day, when you’ve honoured your commitment to yourself, acknowledge your success.

“If you want to make good use of your time, you’ve got to know what’s most important and then give it all you’ve got.”
— Lee Iacocca

A Note from the Universe

One’s ability to succeed, is always proportional to one’s willingness to fail.

Besides, all failures are temporary, all tigers are paper, and life is a many splendored thing.

Go for it,

“The forgiving state of mind is a magnetic power for attracting good.” Catherine Ponder

Forgiveness tends to be one of those things that is easy to say, but hard to do. We get caught up in the hurt and pain and for some reason we don’t want to let that go. But forgiveness is freeing – it is healing, and it brings with it all kinds of life lessons and spiritual growth. And that is always good.
