Lady! in this night of June
Fair like thee and holy,
Art thou gazing at the moon
That is rising slowly?
I am gazing on her now:
Something tells me, so art thou.
-Alfred Austin (1835-1913)

Spiritual Unite: Tiger Spirit Animal Meaning – Apex Energy Available

Tetraktys: 10 Ways to Protect Your Home from Negativity – Warding for Beginners

There are a lot of perks of being a witch. You have a stronger intuition, a higher sensitivity to the energy around you, and a sense of empowerment over your life. EarthSky News: Moon and Saturn from nightfall to dawn

On June 18, 2019, the big and bright waning gibbous moon shines quite close to Saturn, the sixth planet outward from the sun. Although Saturn is a notch brighter than a 1st-magnitude star, you might have some difficulty seeing Saturn in the moon’s glare tonight. That more brilliant “star” above the moon and Saturn is another planet, the fifth planet outward from the sun and largest planet in our solar system, Jupiter.

Daily Tarot: The World

Take your place in the World and be in your element all day long. Your practical mind and easy nature let you cruise through the regular maze that is daily life. If anything out of the ordinary arises, you’ll know instinctively how to approach it and resolve things to your satisfaction. Today may not be easy or effortless but it will be rich in success and approval – from yourself and probably others as well.

Patheos-Pagan: 6 Roles For Solitary Practitioners in the Pagan Future
I’ve been writing a lot lately about Paganism as an institution, about the things I believe and the things I believe we should build. I’ve never hidden my goals: I want to build a religion. Or more precisely, I want to build a family of Pagan and polytheist religions.

Inner Journey:

“Our ultimate freedom is the right and power to decide how anybody or anything outside ourselves will affect us.”
— Stephen Covey

A Greek myth can help us understand the freedom that comes with power of choice.

In the Underworld, Sisyphus was condemned to roll a large stone up a hill from which it always rolled down again. Realistically, he was trapped in an endless cycle of rolling the stone. When he perceived himself to be imprisoned by the curse, he was a victim.

At one point, however, he turned the tables — he changed his mind and decided to CHOOSE to roll the stone up the hill. In doing so, he empowered himself and defused the curse.

“Freedom is what you do with what’s been done to you.”
— Jean-Paul Sartre

“One cannot make a slave of a free person, for a free person is free even in a prison.”
— Plato

A Note from the Universe

Thinking that the past or present somehow forecasts the future, neglects the otherwise obvious facts:

That one of the greatest certainties of all time and space is that things always get better.

That no matter how challenging any given setback is, eventually it will make possible the attainment of even greater heights than were previously imaginable.

And that you knew exactly what you were doing when you once said, “Time and space? I’m totally there, dude…”

You always were hip –

Arduinna, Gaulish Goddess of Forests and Hunting is one of the many Celtic Goddesses who is associated with a particular region or body of water. She was worshipped in the heavily forested regions of the Ardennes, located in what is current day Belgium and Luxembourg with small portions found in France and Germany

Today’s Recipe: Ginger Cookies

I have been experimenting making ginger cookies and quite by accident I left off 1/4 cup of flour. They came out better, thin and crisp with tiny holes in them. If you like the taste of ginger and molasses, you will love this flavorful, cookie.

“I love it – I love it; and who shall dare
To chide me for loving that old arm-chair?”
-Eliza Cook, 1848

There’s no place like home! Was it Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz who first said that? Whenever I travel I always find myself appreciating so much the comforts of home upon my return. There’s just something about the familiarity of it all that is so reassuring, so cozy! It’s nice to have things around us with which we have some history.
