a message from Kate Spreckley)
Our soul works tirelessly to reveal itself so that we may reclaim and reintegrate it as our innate, authentic self. When consciously seeking to uncover our soul, we discover that it exists as an eternal being and part of a vast interconnected whole.

ThoughtCo: Hold a Spring Rebirth Ritual for Ostara
Spring is the time of year when the cycle of life, death, and rebirth is complete. As plants bloom and new life returns, the theme of resurrection is ever present. As Ostara, the spring equinox, arrives, it’s the season for that which has gone dormant to become revitalized, alive, and reborn.

Daily Good: The Wanderer: Earth as Art
“There is this one extravaganza, already in production for five million years now, called Earth. Because it is so full of redundancies, so repetitious in its winters and fishes, we feel we have seen enough to get a handle on it; we would like to set out our critique of the planet’s aesthetic merits and failures before we are toast like Tacitus. There was once a critique that it was “very good,” but that was affectionate and antediluvian; it is high time for a dispassionate reassessment of Earth as art.” Amy Leach takes the reader on this dazzling, tongue-in-cheek, magic carpet ride of a piece. { read more }

EarthSky News: See the zodiacal light
The moonless evenings around the spring equinox are best for viewing the zodiacal light after sunset. Now that the moon has left the early evening sky, the next several weeks present an excellent time for those in the Northern Hemisphere to view this mysterious light, which looks like a hazy pyramid extending up from the western horizon, when all traces of twilight have let the evening sky

Patheos-Pagan: For Beginning Witches and Pagans Who Want More
I follow #witchesofinstagram. The pictures are interesting, in a darkly beautiful way. They often have comments about crystals, healing, and how the Universe wants the best for you. They’re clearly meaningful to the people who post them. But most of them aren’t what I have in mind when I think “witchcraft.”

Inner Journey:
WE EXPERIENCE WHAT WE BELIEVE
“You are free to believe what you choose and what you do attests to what you believe.”
— A Course of Miracles
You most likely believe that your experiences have taught you what is real and what is true – at least for you. However, what you may not know is that your beliefs – conscious and unconscious – have determined what you would experience.
Experiences do not determine what you believe. What you first of all believe is what you will experience. It follows, then, that if you wish to experience life in new ways, you need to examine your belief systems.
Change your consciousness and you’ll change your life.
“Sooner or later, those who win are those who think they can.”

A Note from the Universe
There will always be something else you could have said. There will always be something else you could have done. And there will always be another life you could have lived.
But, frankly, we’re still savoring all you did say, do, and become, in spite of so many reasons that you might not have.
Wow,
The Universe

Animals
“We humans should never forget our capacity to connect with the collective spirit of animals. Their energy is essential to our future growth.”
-Shirley MacLaine, 1985
Whether or not we have pets, or an affinity for animals, we need to show them our respect and appreciation. We are all in this together – “all” meaning every living creature on this planet. It troubles me that some of our beautiful animals are being so badly mistreated. We have a responsibility to allow animals their space in this world, and to not interfere to the point of causing pain and even extinction.

Daily Tarot: The Pope
What are your most pressing questions about love and relationships today? The Pope is a strong indication that you are searching for answers, and should look for a wise teacher who can help you find them. Don’t rule out family members, co-workers, professionals, and even sage strangers you meet randomly. Gurus can wear many disguises, but it doesn’t lessen their knowledge.
