MBG: 5 Signs That You May Be An Ambivert & How To Thrive
Many of us have likely self-identified as introverts or extroverts, swearing by these labels. But in reality, these traits fall on a spectrum, rather than introversion and extroversion being mutually exclusive.

Daily Dream Meaning: Eyes
1. Being watched by strange, disembodied eyes indicates unexpected good fortune to come. If the eyes are particularly beautiful, this is a sign of success in romance and/or reassurance that you are surrounded by people who care for you. If there is only one eye watching you, this is the all-seeing Eye of God, and hints at success beyond your wildest dreams.
2. To go blind, to injure your eyes, or to get something in them is calling your attention to the fact that there is something or someone in your life that you’re not really seeing as they really are.
3. Light-colored eyes indicate a new friendship, while dark eyes hint that someone is sexually attracted to you.
Wise Woman Herbal: A Tool for Compassionate Listening by Linda Conroy
When I was introduced to the wise woman tradition, I was curious about the tenant of compassionate listening. I heard this as compassionately listening to the self, the plants, nature and others, yet was not sure how to apply this. As I have deepened my understanding of compassionate listening, I have found several tools that have assisted me in bringing this tangibly into my life.

MNN: 7 spectacular facts about yaks
Yaks, as they’re called in China, may look like very hairy cattle, but they are more complicated than that simple explanation, and they have a long history with humans in the highlands of Asia.
EarthSky News: April’s 2nd first quarter moon on April 30
Tonight – April 30, 2020 – the moon is at or near its first quarter phase, as darkness falls around the world. At first quarter moon, the moon is 90 degrees east of the sun on the sky’s dome, and its disk is half-illuminated by sunshine. About one week from now – on May 7, 2020 – the moon will turn full when it’s 180 degrees from the sun in our sky, when its disk is totally illuminated by sunshine.
Patheos-Pagan: Beltane For One
Celebrating Beltane solo this year? The thought may make you a bit sad, but I am here to point out the advantages of celebrating Beltane as a solo practitioner.

Labels limit us
“When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.”
— Lao Tzu
How do you define yourself, to yourself and others? Are you first and foremost a husband/wife? A mother/father? A bus driver, dentist, musician … ? A Christian, Muslim, Jew …? A nag, joker, dreamer …?
Be aware that any label puts limits on you. Today, experience how it feels to let go of the labels to rest in ‘I am.’ Feel the freedom, the spaciousness, the infinite potential of simply being.
“With every breath, the possibility of a new aspect of self arises.”
— Wayne Muller
“As long as I am this or that, I am not all things.”
— Meister Eckhart
A Note from the Universe
Okay, here’s the skinny. The answer to your question. The way, the light, the door. The most overlooked truth in reality. And the one that requires the most “uncommon sense” to fully grasp:
When it comes to effecting change (big or little, but especially big), manifesting the life of your dreams, or getting that perfect parking space, “thinking” is immeasurably more valuable when used to imagine what you want — the end result — than to figure out how you’re going to get it.
Which is why most people have to schlep through big parking lots.
Today’s Recipe: Spicy Eggplant and Pasta with Pancetta
Eggplant has its fans and its detractors. Even the most devoutly anti-eggplant zealot can’t resist this savory combination of spicy eggplant, pancetta, and pasta.

“Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art, to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.”
-Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882)
This is from one of my favorite poems “A Psalm of Life” – it’s the one that also expresses:
“Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime
And departing, leave behind us
Footprints in the sands of time.
Let us then be up and doing,
With a heart for any fate,
Still achieving, still pursuing,
Learn to labor and to wait.”
Longfellow said it so well – and his words live on, appropriate for anytime or place, because they echo the truth so beautifully.
Daily Tarot: The Magician
The Magician encourages you to take positive action. Once your mind is made up, it’s hard to change it. Determination and creativity are your most admirable qualities now, and they will help you reach your desired goal. You have confidence in your corner, which takes a lot of the anxiety out of making the first move, taking things to the next level, or generally excelling at all things related to love.
