MBG: What Exactly Is An Out-Of-Body Experience—And Can You Make One Happen At Will?

An out-of-body experience occurs when a person temporarily feels like their spirit or soul has left their physical body. It’s often the unintentional result of an accident or near-death experience. Astral projection, on the other hand, is an intentional out-of body experience in which the subtle body travels outside the physical body at the whim of the individual.

Daily Dream Meaning: Bird

1. Songbirds are a universal symbol for happy news, especially if they are brightly colored and/or singing.
2. If they are flying, then your life is going to definitely take a turn for the better. Dead or injured birds, however, indicate either a halt to or a need to revise some of your plans for the future.
3. Birds of prey represent a warning: Someone is trying to take unfair advantage of you.
4. Birds’ eggs in a nest indicate a new life full of hope – or this could possibly be a pun meaning money coming. In other words, you’ll soon acquire a “nest egg.” An empty nest hints at a change of residence.

Daily Good: The Last Nail in Individualism’s Coffin?

Recently, however, the primacy of the individual’s inalienable rights and freedoms has come under immense pressure.” Rohini Nilekani, one of India’s most prominent and inspiring philanthropists shares more about the very real threat to the positive dimensions of individualism in our current world, and what we can do to protect them.{ read more }

Inner Journey:

“If we fail to nourish our souls, they wither, and without soul, life ceases to have meaning…. The creative process shrivels in the absence of continual dialogue with the soul. And creativity is what makes life worth living.”
— Marion Woodman

Stress, fear, negativity, too much to do and doing things for others at the expense of our own needs — these all stifle our innate creativity. Relaxation, fun, meditation, and going after our dreams all get the creative juices flowing. Soul is always creative, always fresh and new.

How can you create more space in your life to allow the soul’s energy out to play?

“I learned… that inspiration does not come like a bolt, nor is it kinetic, energetic, striving, but it comes to us slowly and quietly and all the time, though we must regularly and every day give it a little chance to start flowing, prime it with a little solitude and idleness.”
— Brenda Ueland

“I lived in solitude in the country and noticed how the monotony of quiet life stimulates the creative mind.”
— Albert Einstein

A Note from the Universe
Ain’t it grand? Doesn’t it boggle your mind? The harmony, the splendor, the beauty, the intricacies, the synchronicities, and the staggering perfection? Do you ever wonder how it all came about?

Do you think I studied quarks, atoms, and molecules? That I drew schematics for the sun, the moon, and the stars; the otter, the Gila Monster, and penguin? Do you think I painted every zebra, flower, and butterfly?

Or… do you think… I simply imagined the end result?

And that’s all you ever have to do!

Daily Wisdom
May 26, 2020
“The sum total of excellence is good sense and method. When these have passed into the instinctive readiness of habit, when the wheel revolves so rapidly that we cannot see it revolve at all, then we call the combination genius.”

-Samuel Taylor Coleridge (1772-1834)

Given this explanation, we all have the potential for genius. I think a genius is someone who has worked so hard at something that they make it look easy, effortless. In Howard Gardner’s book, “Frames of Mind: The Theory of Multiple Intelligences,” he identifies seven kinds of intelligence, and he recently added an eighth. Genius can be found in any field, and it shines as a bright example for all of us.
