The things that are going on in your life now will help in your quest for personal evolution. If you need assistance ask for what you need and there is no request that is too small or too large. Pay attention to the guidance that you receive, especially when your intuition gives you a nudge. These prompting’s will guide you along your path and provide direction and insight. Today’s Message: Divine Guidance

101: As we welcome the month of October let’s take some time to clear and center as we prepare ourselves to focus on receiving divine inspiration and information. Divine guidance comes from many sources (Goddess/Sacred Feminine, God, Angels or Ascended Masters.), and comes in many forms that you see, hear, feel or even touch. Our creative energy will also play a big part in what we do this month. The Universe is not only powerful but creative as well so be ready for new and inspiring thoughts and ideas to help you along your path. Remember, don’t try and force things to happen because the best creative things happen naturally. IVY LORE

The ancient Celts and in particular the Druids, held ivy in high regard. In Wales ivy was related to the goddess Arianrhod, and was used in her ritual of opening a portal into the Otherworld also known as the dark side of the moon and the Realm of Faery. This realm is symbolized by the butterfly and gives ivy a mysterious and mystical aspect. Persephone is also associated with this month, this begins the time when she departs for the underworld for the dark half of the year. This month is time of settlement and reconciliation as it relates to karma. This month also corresponds to the Hunters Moon which is this months full moon. It relates to female hunting animals wolf (Brigid), boar (Garbh Ogh), Lioness (Sekhemet)

This plant is associated with the Goddess because it grows in a spiral
This plant is sacred to the God Dionysus and during the Bacchanal people would run around waving the thyrsus which was actually fir branches that were wrapped with ivy. And the ancient Greeks would give a wreath of ivy to newlyweds as a symbol of fidelity.

PLANT INFORMATION

This “super vine” has great strength because of it’s ability to force it’s way into solid rock and it was powerful enough to kill a full grown oak tree. Ivy is another Celtic tree that is not a tree, and it depends upon a real tree to give it support. It is a member of the Ginseng family although it is considered an evergreen and it represents the ever blooming aspect of the human psyche. It develops yellowish flowers in October and then black berries.

Ivy is a POISONOUS plant and while it is said to have been used for medicinal purposes (like curing hangovers and cleansing wounds) I would highly recommend AGAINST it , as all parts of this plant are poisonous.

IVY IN MAGIC

In it’s magical role ivy protects against evil spirits negativity and disaster. and is a symbol of loyalty, healing rituals, and longtime friendships. It can be used in love charms to promote fidelity. As a magical name Ivy denotes strength and to give someone ivy as a gift states “attachment” and be mine forever.

IVY PEOPLE

People born in this month are balanced by Reed people. In their own right, Ivy people have great stamina and talents that can bring them great public honors. Today’s Message: The Priority of Progress

928: Whether we realize it or not the Universe provides support for your purpose as well as everything that is needed to make things happen. Today we are being guided to reflect on our path as the angels ask this important question, ” Are you doing what you love?” Too often we find ourselves stuck in relationships, jobs and activities that we have outgrown, or we don’t enjoy. By letting these things go we are inviting the energy needed to create something better. By creating something better we are embracing the opportunities to do what we love. The key is in taking responsibility and then adding your energy to the equation (do your part). Don’t sit back and just wait for things to happen. By taking the necessary steps you will be ready to grab the opportunities when they appear. If you miss one by hesitating it will come back around but it may take a while to reappear. 927: We will continue talking about our support system today. Having a great support system can help give us the confidence to move forward with our goals and dreams. However, the truth is that your own self confidence will help you far more. By believing in yourself and in your dreams, you are consciously creating a flow of positive energy that surrounds you and spreads outward, opening the paths and doorways to new things and experiences. Today’s Message: Reflecting on Gratitude

926: Today the angels are reminding us of the importance of embracing gratitude. Remember that gratitude keeps us grounded by keeping things in perspective. Autumn is the time of year when gratitude takes the lead and sets the tone for the new cycle. Take time today to ground and center and check your overall balance. Do things feel good or are you wobbly and tipping the scales and letting fear or worry take over? If you feel off center acknowledge your concerns and turn them over to the angels to transmute into something better. Remind yourself that you are worthy of great things and reflect on the good things that have happened recently. Even if it’s just one thing remember that it’s a starting point. So firm up your resolve and move forward. Do not backpedal or allow yourself to become stagnate. Success happens with forward movement and by helping ourselves we receive the assistance that we need.

Archangel Haniel showers us with stardust, illuminating our thoughts and memories so that we can remember what magickal beings we truly are, which assists us in the creation process. In turn this  shows us how to receive with grace and gratitude. This process accelerates when we allow beauty and harmony to surround us. It’ helps us to enjoy ourselves which makes blessings easier to receive.

The Ascended Master Buddha is our go-to guy when we feel “wobbly’. He teaches us that the key to happy living requires moderation and balance in all things. This includes the important balance between giving and receiving. When we are balanced, we find that inner peace is ours!

The Irish Goddess Dana helps us to generate abundance through gratitude. She says, “While you wait for these blessings to arrive fill your heart with feelings of abundance. Engage yourself in things that make you feel abundant!” ….. ” Your energy is linked to the energy of the Divine. Acknowledge and strengthen this connection as it allows you to handcraft your dreams.

Our Sacred Stones for today include:

Agate. This humble stone is the perfect one for grounding and balancing our energies. It also helps by raising our consciousness to access our higher self and promoting the awareness and acceptance of who we are and where we want to go in life. It nurtures our spiritual growth and inner strength by helping us to make the most of our life experiences.

Yellow Jasper helps to provide clarity on both mental and emotional levels. It starts us off in a positive direction while helping us to find realistic and workable solutions that help us to attain our goals.

Unakite. This green and pink stone helps us to see blocks that we have erected within ourselves and then provides valuable insights on removing them so that we can move forward. It helps us to appreciate and gain clarity from the present moment and works with both base and heart chakras.

Today’s Message: Acceptance

925: Yesterday we talked about the changes headed our way. However, some of you may be experiencing them now. Remember that faith is an asset (faith in self and Spirit). It will help you move forward and will invite new things into your life. Today’s number (25) is about action and rising above any obstacles that you encounter. Since change is necessary for growth be sure to embrace the resources you have (like your support system) as they will help you to live life to the fullest and create fresh new ideas and prospects. Combine this with confidence and strength and step into your power to make things happen. The secret to change lies in acceptance and the ability to let things unfold naturally.

Today’s Spirit Helpers include:

Archangel Zadkiel teaches us that true compassion and healing lies in our ability to forgive ourselves and others. This is essential to the letting go and letting it be processes as it allows our hearts and minds to make room and teaches us to just breathe and embrace compassion which in turn makes room for new growth. This is one of the best self-healing practices and gifts that we can give ourselves.

The Ascended Master Kuthumi helps us to navigate the distractions of everyday life. He encourages us to focus on what’s important right now and to stop fighting the things that we have no control over, which blocks our problem solving and creative flow. Things flow easier when we are not struggling against the “what if’s and maybes.

The Greek goddess Nike, Lady of victory and success helps us to embrace the good things that we have accomplished. By acknowledging them we can increase our faith in ourselves as a creator. She says: “Do not be afraid to acknowledge the amazing things you have done but don’t rest to long on your laurels. Remember that your power comes through movement and momentum is lost through inactivity. Keep moving and you will be victorious!”

Larimar helps to remove self-imposed barriers that may be keeping us from accepting our personal power and stops self-sabotaging behavior by bringing out the best in us. It helps us to see the things that we have to be grateful for and the tiny miracles that we take for granted. This sky-blue stone also helps to ease our obsession for material things and shows us how to put things into perspective so that you manifest what you really need. It shows us how to go with the flow.

Peridot brings new levels of awareness as it promotes growth and necessary change as it helps to sharpen the mind and enhance our self confidence. Peridot can teach us to look back at the past and find the gifts that are hidden within our experiences and then shows us the path to forgiveness and moving forward.

Sandstone clears the mind of distractions and enhances overall creativity. It helps us to find the truth (in people and situations) which is essential to making good decisions
