Spiritual Unite: Twin Flame Unity: The Spirit Consciousness

The Twin Flame experience is special. No other relationship can help us understand the true oneness of the soul and of consciousness more than the Twin Flame relationship, centred as it is purely on the spirit level of consciousness. We love our Twin Flame as we love ourselves, on the same level. That is no accident our Twin Flame….

MBG: The Age When Your Self-Esteem Peaks Will Pleasantly Surprise You

How will you change over the years as you get older? Past research offers strong evidence that, although there are parts of personalities that stay relatively set throughout our lives, we do in fact experience real character growth over time. The primary way we change is through maturation: All of our more pro-social, positive traits (things like conscientiousness and social skills) tend to increase as we get older, whereas many of our more negative traits (things like impulsiveness and anxiousness) tend to decrease.

Elephant Journal: Neptune in Opposition—but Still on Our Side.

Come September 7th, Neptune will stand directly opposite the sun in the night sky—and we will stand between those two worlds, like curious children looking up at giants.
It would serve us well to remember that curious child inside each one of us.

MNN: Understanding fake honey and how to avoid it

A recent report about “honey laundering” in Australia is another reminder of the benefit of supporting local farmers.

Testing showed that Australia’s biggest honey producer, Capilano, and some of that country’s largest supermarkets have been selling fake honey — many of them unknowingly — according to the Sidney Morning Herald. Much of the honey was adulterated, meaning it had been mixed with other substances. That was uncovered by a German lab commissioned by a law firm looking into the reports.

EarthSky News: Hazy light pyramid in east? False dawn

For the Northern Hemisphere, these next months are your best time all year to catch the zodiacal light, or “false dawn.” And the next few days are great, because the moon will be in a waning crescent. There might be some great photo opportunities with a waning crescent moon and the zodiacal light, since both will be located in the east before dawn breaks. On September 9, the moon will be new, or between the Earth and sun, and then it’ll be back entirely in the evening sky … gone from the sky before dawn, leaving it dark for your zodiacal light viewing pleasure.

Inner Journey:

WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?

“I never know what I think about something until I read what I’ve written on it.”
— William Faulkner

What have you been thinking lately?

Do you know? We get so accustomed to our thoughts that we lose awareness of them. We don’t see how they are stuck in old habitual patterns, most of which don’t serve us.

Take time to journal so you can capture your thoughts on paper. By doing so, you will begin to take control of your mind and use it to best advantage.

“When you choose to understand [and] exercise control over the functions and attributes of your own mind, you will be empowered to create your own reality, to be completely self-reliant and totally prosperous.”
— The Delfin Knowledge System

A Note from the Universe

Envy cured, huh?

Today’s Recipe: Gluten Free Blueberry Breakfast Bread

This is a great bread loaf for those looking for a gluten free, dairy free, and low carb option. You can have it fresh out the oven, but I prefer to cut them into 1/3″ slices, toast them, and have them with butter and/or jam. This bread’s consistency is a cross between banana bread and an English muffin. If you’d like it more like the former altogether, add a few tablespoons of sugar, as this recipe is barely sweet.

Leadership
“Divide and rule, the politician cries;
Unite and lead, is watchword of the wise.”

-Goethe (1749-1832)

It has been said a million different ways, a million different times: we’re all in this together. Great leaders understand this and show us just how much we have in common. Together, with all of our talents and intelligence working as one, we can accomplish so much, more so than we ever could alone.

Beliefnet: 6 Ways to Adapt to Change

A man loses his job. A woman discovers her boyfriend was cheating on her. Another person discovered he has cancer at 49. We don’t like change. In fact, just thinking about the possibility of change gives some people the chills. No matter what, change makes us feel miserable and if we could high-tail from it, we would and frequently do. We are creatures of habit and feeling a sense of security is normal and when we are knocked on our butts with horrible news–we take a dive into a foreign land

Spirituality & Healing: 3 Ways to Reduce Commitment Overload

There’s one of those expressions going around, the kind printed on signs, keychains and pillows: Let whatever you do today be enough. I want it to be enough, but it feels like there is always three times as much to do as can possibly get done in 24 hours. Feeling chronically overwhelmed is a signal that it’s time to reduce your commitments. Other symptoms may include backing out of plans, being perpetually exhausted, or not having time to devote to self-care. Let’s look at some radical ways to climb out from under the heap of commitments

For thousands of years, people have used a simple breathing meditation to enhance spirituality and understand our place in the universe. This insight meditation also enhances creativity and clarity of thought while promoting a sense of peace and well-being. It encourages a sense of wonder, of awe, of curiosity the foundations of a happier and more meaningful life without a feeling of constriction, frustration, or shame that too often comes alongside trying meditation for the first time (or the thousandth).

MNN: What can wolf packs teach us about being better humans?

Where once humans regarded wolves as a fearsome foe, more of us now see them through another lens. Dog lovers recognize our pets’ ancestors when they see wolves at play, while ecologists see the positive impact of a top predator on an entire ecosystem. There’s more respect and understanding of wolves, but there’s still plenty of misconception.

Pioneer Thinking: Hawthorn Berry – The Heart Herb

Ancient Greeks used hawthorn berries for heart disease. The Greeks and Romans looked to hawthorn as a source of happiness and hope for the future. The berries were used by the Chinese for digestion and circulatory problems. Christian legend says that the crown of thorns that was placed upon the head of Christ was made from hawthorn. The crushed fruit or leaves were used as a poultice for their drawing powers to remove thorns and splinters for centuries in England. Native Americans believed that hawthorn was useful for rheumatism and heart problems.

Patheos-Pagan: Misconceptions About Shadow Work

In the writings of Carl Jung, the Shadow is not purely positive or negative. While it contains a lot of really negative things about ourselves that we don’t want to look at, it’s not just purely negative things. It’s simply the parts of ourselves that we’re disowning or unconscious of that are outside of the light of our consciousness, or rather the Shadow of our consciousness.

Inner Journey: Seek Union Over Separation

“Beliefs separate. Loving thoughts unite.”
— Paul Ferrini

Our ego focuses on how we are different from the rest of the world. We connect with soul when we experience how we are the same.

Any time you separate yourself from other people or from situations, you know your personality is in control. At such times, shift your perspective to build connection and you will move into soul.

“As a holistic being you shatter the illusion of your separateness and reveal your connection to everything. This empowers you in a way that the ego-driven self could never contemplate.”
— Wayne Dyer
