Our spiritual practice has purpose. It helps us to learn and grow and feel our connection with the Divine. And it also helps to lift the spiritual energy of the whole planet! The more people who devote time to spiritual practice, the better off our world will be. So, there are two things we can each do, every day, to help ourselves and each other.
Continue regular spiritual practices. This includes prayer, meditation, reading spiritual works, serving others, and giving of our time and talents.
Encourage others to spend time pursuing their own spiritual practices. This may mean babysitting some youngsters so their mother can spend some time in silence, or sending enlightening e-mails on to friends!
