Thought For The Day: Jan 22, 2019 “Strength”

Happy Tuesday,

We all have our weaknesses. But we also  have great strength and resilience. It’s during those times when we feel beaten down by life when we are offered a choice. Find the courage to and strength to stand up and try again or  give up and let the pit of despair swallow us whole. Remember, that your life is yours to create and control so grab the reins and follow the light.

Moving on. This happens to all of us at some point in our lives. The point is that things change.  People change, we change, relationships change, circumstances change. Often no one is to blame because things just happen.  Remember that change brings growth and by moving on with grace we pave the way  for the blessings that lie ahead.

Change happens, that’s the truth. Another truth about change is that it’s often scary. Because of this we tend to fight against change even when we know that it’s for the best. However, our thought for today puts change in a different light. Face it with courage, dance in the puddles and embrace the blessings it brings.

Where is your mind today? Are you doing your best to be positive and upbeat even though there are  problems that you are currently dealing with, OR are you letting your worries and fears consume you?  While we all have worries and fears it’s how we handle them that matters. Yes they should be dealt with but we should not let them rules our lives. Do what you can, when you can and set aside the things that you have no control over. Your sanity is worth that.

Within each of us is the ability to be great and do great things. Too often we sell ourselves short through negative self talk and lack of faith in our own abilities. However the truth is that we have what it takes and we all have our strengths. Remember, you ARE worthy of great things because you are an amazing being and creator.

Happy Tuesday,

There is a difference between acquaintances and friends. Just because you know someone doesn’t make them your friend. Likewise, there is a difference between a friend and a good/great friend. Just because someone is your friend doesn’t mean that they will really be there for you when you need someone. Good friends will always be there to lift you up, listen or help you out. It’s OK to have a lot of friends but knowing who your real friends are is priceless.
