As the stars that shall be bright when we are dust,
Moving in marches upon the heavenly plain;
As the stars are starry in the time of our darkness,
To the end, to the end they remain.

MBG: The Differences Between Vedic & Western Astrology, Explained
If you’re into astrology, you’ve undoubtedly mapped your birth chart, downloaded various apps, and maybe even looked up your astrological compatibility with a love interest. But did you know Western astrology isn’t the only astrological system out there?
Daily Dream Meaning: Foreign Country
1. If the foreign country was one that you have either been to and loved, or always wanted to visit, this is a sign that the attainment of your heart’s desire is closer than you think. It also means that you should keep working on it and not be discouraged in spite of any setbacks.
2. If the foreign country is strange, or the people unfriendly, or if it’s a country where violence, war, and other unfavorable situations are occurring, then something or someone in your life is leading you into strange and unfamiliar territory which could at the very least make you uncomfortable. Think twice before allowing yourself to be tempted into circumstances that you know nothing about.
“This is June, the month of grass and leaves . . . already the aspens are trembling again, and a new summer is offered me. I feel a little fluttered in my thoughts, as if I might be too late. Each season is but an infinitesimal point. It no sooner comes than it is gone. It has no duration. It simply gives a tone and hue to my thought. Each annual phenomena is reminiscence and prompting. Our thoughts and sentiments answer to the revolution of the seasons, as two cog-wheels fit into each other. We are conversant with only one point of contact at a time, from which we receive a prompting and impulse and instantly pass to a new season or point of contact. A year is made up of a certain series and number of sensations and thoughts which have their language in nature. Now I am ice, now I am sorrel. Each experience reduces itself to a mood of the mind.”
– Henry David Thoreau, Journal, June 6, 1857

MNN: Dirt from this old Irish church really does have healing properties
When residents of Northern Ireland’s County Fermanagh have a health issue, particularly an infection, they turn to the church.
And the church gives them dirt. But the Sacred Heart Church in the town of Boho doesn’t dole out just any dirt. The soil taken from its churchyard has long been known for its restorative properties — an uncanny ability to fight infection
EarthSky News: Moon and Spica on June 1 and 2
On June 1 and 2, 2020, use the waxing gibbous moon to find Spica, the brightest star in the constellation Virgo the Maiden. In fact, Spica is Virgo’s one and only 1st-magnitude star. Although the bright moon will wipe out a number of fainter stars from the canopy of night tonight, bright Spica should withstand the moonlit glare. If you have trouble seeing Spica, place your finger over the moon and look for a bright star nearby.
Patheos-Pagan: Wiccan Rede: Harm none, spell won’t be done
Many moons ago, through a strange twist of fate, Phyllis Curott’s Witch Crafting landed on my door mat. I wasn’t particularly excited about reading it but through lack of other reading fodder at the time, I began to read. By the end of the book, I realised ‘witch’ was something that had been missing in my life.

“What is necessary to change a person is to change his awareness of himself.”
— Abraham H. Maslow
STOP AND PAY ATTENTION! Set an intention to be more aware. Become a watcher, of yourself and what’s around you. Develop the witness, the part of you that can step back from life and impartially observe how you react and think and feel. We learn so much about who we are!

A Note from the Universe
You know that feeling?
That sense of eagerness for the moment. Optimism for the future. And confidence that you’re exactly “when” and where you should be. That feeling that makes dark days lighter and light days brighter. That precedes breakthroughs, conquests, and euphoria.
Yes, that feeling!
Well, it doesn’t just come.
You have to give it to yourself.

“To gain that which is worth having, it may be necessary to lose everything else.”
To gain peace of mind, it is necessary for us to step away from fear, doubt, and anxiety. To gain love, we must give up grudges, and resentments. Let’s look at what is worth having, and what we are willing to give up to get it
Daily Tarot: The Moon
It’s possible that you’re putting yourself under more stress and pressure than anyone or anything else going on around you. It’s not necessary to beat yourself up emotionally like this. Things are fine and you can make things even better if you curtail the urge to obsessively dwell on only what and who is letting you down. Be your own best friend and give yourself credit for what you’re doing right.
